Will i need to pack my thermals for tomorrow? Have been to many cricket games where the weather turns out to be the equivalent of our winter.
Hopefully it's nice and sunny, so looking forward to tomorrow

If the last few days are anything to go by, shirts staying on until the 80th is going to be hard.

3 hours of work, followed by the office Christmas party, then the Backbencher and a Phoenix win. I can hardly contain myself.

Metservice says "Drizzle clearing, becoming fine. Southerlies fading".
It also says, under What's On in Wellington, "The Wellington Phoenix FC vs the Sydney FC" on 17 November...

BRILLIANT

that's a sure sign of our growing influence as a club - and as a sport (first Wellington, then the boondocks!)

I sincerely reckon that, that is one of the best and most significant pieces of news on the board for quite a while

Fining up, wind dropping, forecast is for a calm warm evening - perfect for footy!

You would need something warm if the game was on right now.  Unless you have Yellow Fever that is.

Wearing my RR and Phoenix Pants - got a few comments in town, encouraged the checkout staff at New World and Sounds to come along. Managed to rope some friends into coming.

No Desert Storm for me though

I'm excited, its gonna be big, its gonna be HUGE!

COME ON PHOENIX

Just packed down a subway to get a good base on. Rain has stopped and its looking promising.

Backbencher targeted and locked in for about 4:30-5pm.

Just make sure you all remember the tune for "Stand up for the Phoenix," otherwise football as we know it will be over forever.

Can't wait for tonight.

Hmm I hope the wind is "dropping" compared to last weeks mystery person who kept farting outside the BB. Lay off the venison burgers will ya.

Right thats it I'm on my way, hoping Vickmeist and Turfmoore are not to pissed after their work do.

See you all shortly.

Seeing as it is Fever Friday I decided to snap up a YF over Wgtn Tee. The guy at RYOS said that he is blown away at how popular they have been.

Compliments to the YF design team!

By the way, we should all make an effort to dust down that classic Retro Ricki or even a Phoenix scarf on Fever Friday...

Well, if my adult and child ticket 'seq' number are anything to go by, so far (11am this morning) there are double the number of under16s than adults attending. I have no idea whether the numers are meaningful but adding them up represents over 6000 tickets sold before walk up...

Not quite sure about that many presales. I was in the store this morning and heard mutterings of 2000. Could have been presales or possibly people allowed into fever zone

Getting sent to Christchurch on Friday for work and as our comapny has a casual Friday dress code, I'll be educating my fellow south island workmates with my Retro Ricki. Might even take my scarf as well.
