Totally agree. In fact, everyone who was there today must come to every other home game, and no one else is allowed in. In addition, everybody must wear the same clothes.

pretty harsh but fair.

OR
the phoenix should play as well as they can every game and everyone is allowed!!!

Also true. Maybe the players will now believe in themselves more. I mean they have shown glimpses but now they know they can deliver. The proof was on the field.

I was worried that after my run of three wins that the decay of the lucky undies would be a bad omen. It turns out I have a new pair of Lucky underwear.

I changed seats yesterday from way up the back to about 3 rows from the front - I know where I'll be sitting at the next game!! I also took my Phoenix scarf to the game for the first time and I have had it for a year! Looks like the scarf will be coming to the next game too!

Witness the birth of about 10,000 new superstitions!

I shouted my brother a ticket to the game - his first football game. Better get him along again.

That was an explosion of pent-up self belief, that was LG!

To be fair, for Feverish, Smithy, 2nd Best it was surely punishment enough to have not been present at Our Finest Hour  (..and a half, give or take)

Here's the first two jinx-saving solutions I could come up with... no doubt you experts will have a few more.

1)  Despatch and confine said trio to a corporate box- in splendid isolation-(think:swineflu)  for the next home game 4th Nov.
Depending on outcome, allow them to inhabit nearby aisles until jinx effects are nil.

2) Gareth Morgan and Jo ride their bikes round and round the said three until they get so dizzy they all fall down.....(probably not helpful that this should happen Fri13th Nov-Sat14th outside Bahraini hotel..whole other thread devoted to THAT!)
Once they help the Morgans pick up and dust off their bikes,... all jinx effects can be safely assumed to have been removed.

is the Pinata associated with the removal of bad luck? and, if so, can we source enough papier mache?

Just saw our spot on TV3 news. Nice shot of you Tigers, me, Harry, Plymouth and Geordie jumping around without our shirts on after the last goal. TV3 moved the shots around though, showing that after the 5th goal and then showing News and his area "shirts on" after the 6th goal.

The final score was......

All three news showed some/most of the goals (Prime showed them all) and a feew player interviews. If I had known there was going to be training today, I'd have shown up to cheer them on some more!

heh.

Off topic but...

I opened my google page the other day while I was watching my recording of the Spurs/Stoke game. The headline in my google mail box was the score of the game.

I was 10 minutes into watching the game.

I deleted it.

Damn you Google. Do no evil my ass.

Why would you be on email, Google, Facebook, Yellow Fever etc when trying not see the score of a match you're watching on delay?

Hmmm, going to be niggly when you can't make it to games and we have to give him to Feverish to throw in the air.

Feverish's catching aint the greatest when he's had a few lagers.

Still, all in the name of good luck I spose so your lad will just have to take a hit for the team.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Also reckon the kid who had his 10th birthday party and featured on the big screen at halftime with him and his mates shirtless and waving them above their heads should have a birthday at every home game
