We've drawn a 'home' game against WSW to be played in Australia.

The 16 matches in the Round of 32 will be held over three weeks with four matches per night (on either a Tuesday or Wednesday) across four match nights beginning in the last week of July.

The specific match details in regards to the dates, venues and kick-off times will be announced in the coming days.

I would have thought this crap about us playing our home games in Australia would have been resolved with the new licence. It would have been nice to get a game over here in Wellington. Or are the club now the Australian phoenix with the travelling circus expanding it's geographical boundaries??

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

How many 'home' games have we been drawn? All of them against HAL opposition?

Shows how much the Nix care about this Cup. There's no mention of it on our facebook page.
Some Wanderers supporters seem a little worried about this match.

since it is a phoenix home game and it has to be played in australia, should the club be able to pick the stadium and city of its choice instead of playing in west sydney which is in reality a home game for them even though they are the away team

I think they do get to choose

As well as broadcasting one match live and exclusive in full on each match day, FOX SPORTS will also LIVE stream and provide updates and crosses of all other matches.

I did ask if they would confirm NZ viewers get it too. Fox Sport is really bad at Geoblocking content that should be avaliable to us as well.

Imagine Sky will only show the Nix game though, be good to watch some of the others too

Haven't kept too close a tab on West Sydney recruitment, but they seem to have plenty of defenders, and few attackers.

Still bl**dy Santalab there though ...

We have 4 defenders, two other clubs have 6 defenders, a couple have 7 and a couple more have 8 defenders. That scares me. Typical Phoenix luck, Round 1 crocked!

I'm thinking...

Krishna     Kosta

WeeMac  Roly  Gui

A-Rod (Birthday Boy)

Tommy Dura Foxy Fenton

               Mossy

Edit: I'm stoopid. Krishna in Rio. Straight swap for Watson, who will play slightly deeper, as a target man.
