If I had to explain Kurto's sarcastic diving, I would say he's had issues with not being confident to dive in the past (or still does). So when the ball is clearly going out he still forces himself to dive to ensure he stays in a diving mentality for when I dangerous shot is hit. If this is the case, then it's clearly working. His diving saves have been brilliant

I think he's just time wasting.

I like to think it's nothing like that, just a GK doing what GKs do that's being partly crazy. I reckon its bloody great and along with Taylor's antics at free kicks and corners gives us a bit more character.

Think my theory is confirmed by the number of crazy keepers on this forum.

Looking at it - IMO he is practicing the landings to prevent injury :-)

That's actually a pretty good point. If you look at last game, there was a sarcastic dive where he jumped up for a ball (that's gone 10 metres over the crossbar) landed on his feet and then gone straight to ground, as if he was knocked over.

Idk. I play keeper and know other keepers that do similar things to keep them in the Headspace

I refuse to confirm or deny that in another life  ....................

With a red "number one" a white background would be classy

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Got it yesterday. Excellent. 3XL fits loose on me which is what I like. a 2XL probably would have fitted perfectly, but I like baggy gear. I am very happy.

Acrobatically Flipping out at seasons end?

"It’s likely he will remain under the tutelage of Rudan next season, with the Phoenix coach expected to take the reins at Western United who, to date, have announced eight signings."

"John Anastasiadis and John Hutchinson have been appointed as the franchise’s assistant coaches, with Rudan yet to be officially announced."

I like your optimism but I believe it 's misguided

The term used there 'yet to be officially announced' is scary, that does usually mean it's a confirmed done deal but just not announced.

Exactly. I know what I'd be focused on if I was an owner or GM. As Rudan said, players and coaches come and go, but ultimately it's the club that survives (or doesn't). Not saying I want Rudan and others to go - I don't - but, I'm quite clear that the Nix hierarchy have their priorities right. Yep, that's bloody frustrating for us fans, but my guess is that's less than a freckle of the frustration that those involved with securing our long term future are feeling (and indeed bleeding cash for).

I agree with JC.  Yes we had a fab season whichever way it ends, and almost all of it it thanks to Morrison and to Rudan. And yes I would like to keep Rudan for a few more years.

If we have a licence on the same terms as any other current club, even CCM (= till 2034) then we will have some good years and some bad years like any other club. If given an "either/or" choice, I would rather have a club future guaranteed for another decade or so, than hang onto a coach and players if the club is not gaining an ongoing long licence after the next season.  And if our long term licence is resolved, this would not necessarily be an "either/or" thing anymore.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I don't think anyone has posted this yet, but apologies if it's considered to be on wrong thread. It's a good example though of the current complexity of the situation that the Nix are having to work their way through before anything can be done about Rudan, Kurto and any others.
