That's assuming they only lose by one though, what if they lose heavily and we lay waste to CCM?

we've won more games than Perth, therefore we deserve to be above
them! I have to say I've been really surprised at the number of
draws this season in the A League. A reflection of the style of
play or piss poor shooting?

Yeah, amazing to think that the team that finishes top won't have
won half their games....

I'd like to answer that with a quote from famous Italian Winger Deano Martini (to the tune of Amore)
"When the ball hits the cross bar
and the goal keeper's Moss
thats a draw-eh"
(Maybe this belongs in pundemoniam thread

Oh well, next time I guess..
No goals in the last 3 games to round it off. Crap end to an entertaining season.

Interesting Valeo, and because of that (and despite our reputation as a free scoring side) we will finish the season as lowest scorers
BUT Costa (no pressure on the lad
) and some new signings will sort that for
next seasonCMON YOU NIX!!

I win!
Back in October:"When you can't score a goal, and the ball hits the pole, you're a Glory
When the crowds in their seats and won't get on their feet, you're a Glory
When you dream of a win, but you know you're just dreaming, signore
Scuzza me, but you see, the Phoenix will defeat the Perth Glory!"

Yeah, but the fact is, last year the last four games were being run
by Ricki, wasn't really the knights. Pluc look at the difference
between top and bottom last year to this year. 45 - 19 spread last
year 31 - 20 this year!

For the last 4 games they had 3 wins and a draw.
This season he had 21 games, a better squad and backroom
set-up and only managed 5 wins.
Is he over-rated?

different season, different team, new club with only 2.5 months to get setup. Over rated? hell no, next season is the will be more indicative of what Ricki and the Phoenix can do.
