I'd say yes, as it appears any person that has a membership can then contact Ticketek to get a pdf ticket emailed

Wonder what first teamers will be involved in this match hopefully quite a few, first half at least. I'd quite like to see a tinkering in shape (three at the back or something different) since there is nothing really on this game.

Anyone know what stadium parking will cost for this game?

Yellow cards and driving offences are his speciality, not so much goals

Tickets? Tickets? We talkin’ about tickets?

I meant to mention this yesterday but this morning it happened again. At 05:15 on Newstalk ZB they actually had an advert for this game! That's good right?

Sadly, the advert also had "Playing TONIGHT at Westpac" in the advert on both occassions.

Now I appreciate no one else probably heard it but I thought "WTF, who is doing the marketing?" They should have said "playing at Westpac on Tuesday the 14th" surely?

Durante and Finkler have picked up five yellow cards and will miss next weekend's A-League match, so they will no doubt get a decent run vs. Beijing.

Rossi and Smeltz have been absent lately so they may benefit from game time.

Great cant wait, we gertscrewed by the refs already know we can have the video ref do it as well. The mistakes we see in League/Union and cricket means im not confidant that football will do it any better.

Anyone know if this will be televised in Aus? Perhaps a stream?

do not know sorry but guessing will be normal price, we are from out of town and usually end up paying 16 dollars at a pay and display carpark between the station and the stadium. no security though so pays not to leave valuables in your car.

I'm hoping there will be some sort of video reffing calamity.  Don't want a bar of it, so hope it fails miserably in the friendlies and trials.

Dude, parking is free after 6pm Monday to Thursday, Friday after 8pm.  Weekends are free, though there is a 2 hour max that is sometimes enforced.  No need to fork out $16 for parking.

is that anywhere or just certain parking spots, always see others paying the meter at the carpark at the weekend games.

Street parking, not the car park buildings.  Always heaps of parks around the back bencher on the weekend and a short walk to the stadium.

If in doubt check the parking machine. Obviously avoid the time limit ones ie 10 mins, 30 mins and 60 mins and loading zones.  I think those ones are enforced.

In 10 years  have only ever parked on Thorndon Quay/Mulgrave/Murphy streets apart from some over zealous wardens ticketing once when we went to extra time have never had a ticket.Pretty sure the council got involved as pretty mean spirited to issue tickets for 2 hour zones when there is an event on.

However not so sure how it works with new system they have know.

did not mean parking buildings, there is a carpark that backs onto the railway station where the buses go so about a couple of hundred meters from stadium .never bring my reading glasses so have never been able to read the info on the meter. maybe i should bring them so i can see information that could help me save some coin.

Do you mean platform 9 or on bunny street where the mcdonalds is?  Platform 9 is private car parking from memory.  But bunny street is perfectly fine.

in years gone by we parked over on the thorndon quay side, but with laziness and older age kicking in we started parking at the stadium, then when the price went up for season ticket holders we moved to the carpark i was talking about above.

Think the most of the meters stop charging after 6 Mon/Thur and there is no charge on weekends.Just make sure you use the ones with a 2 hour limit.

yeah by platform nine one carpark is private and the one next to it is pay and display, usually about 20 odd cars parked there for phoenix games

sorry about going slightly off topic just wanted to sort parking out before i arrive, free sounds way better than paying, thanks ballane and george costanza for your help.

Permalink Permalink

Sorry I overcomplicated things, as Ballane said stick to the 2 hour limit ones after 6pm. Or get there earlier, it's $4 per hour, minimum payment is $1 so that buys you 15 mins.

The way I find my parks is I go down featherston St/ up stout St and down all the side streets there until I find my free Park.

5 mins from the stadium, free, and I've never failed to find one yet for q Nix game.
