Funniest names in the A-League

Its no longer a problem.

With such a multi-cultural league its not surprising that some of the players names are rather humourous to simple Kiwis and Aussies (OK, Im English but I've been here since I was 2 and a 1/2).
My two favorites are Ufuk Talay and Andre Gumprecht.
Do any other spring to mind?

Its no longer a problem.

Umm, Im not sure which school you went to HN but I was taught that "a" was a vowel. However, following 4 unrelated consinence (?spelling) is funny.

Its no longer a problem.

Sydney have Middleby in the middle and Biddle in the middle as well ,very confusing!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Well, he was raised in Aussie from a very early age AFAIK so he'd probably consider himself an Aussie..

It's like saying Joe Rokocoko isn't an NZer - probably punch you in the face if you said he wasn't though.

Just because you don't have a typical anglo saxon name doesn't mean you aren't from NZ/Aus. Especailly Aussie. Huge migrant population here.

Rokocoko isn't a New Zealander, though, is he?  Wasn't he one of those guys that was bought out here by a college when he was a teenager, because he was good at rugby?

That's why the All Chokes are even funnier - they take all the best talent from the country and the Islands, and still can't win anything of any substance.

You've been reading to much English press Jonesy.  He moved here with his family at the age of 5, before he'd even picked up a Rugby ball.  Despite what your namesake tells the world in the british press this is in fact the case with most of the Islanders in the NZ side.

Of the current crop, Sivivatu is the only exception.

bollocks - you've been brain-washed by the NZ media, with the government involved as well.

Dan Carter was born in Australia and we kidnapped him when he was 18.
Richie McCaw was born in Congo and lived there until he was 17.
Tony Woodcock was made in a factory in China.
