Yeah we're playing badly but being disappointed and b*tching about it are two different things. I'm sad about it but I still say drop the hate...

another bizarre performance from the coach.

Hearfield a curious choice up front, and missed the best chance. I don't know about that penalty, but hey, we would have taken it at the ROF.

Dodd and Brown? two players with their hearts on their sleeves. Attacking end missing in action again.

You didnt see last season when ferrante was possibly our best player did you???

Id say hes just not exactly in form for whatever reason...like the rest of the squad

I dont see the point in 85th minute subs. Had to come on much much earlier,Johnson was playing rubbish

Game over. Well, I can only say Perth probably deserved it. Soft goal, really disappointing pen but they had the better chances. To be honest looking at the replay now, McKain hardly touched him. He was in the way a bit but he didn't make an effort to get there. They looked like they high-fived and Dadi fell over.

Oh well - need more agression like we had in the 2nd half, but for the whole game. Also, Mulligan really shouldn't be playing right-back. Him and Hearfield were the only really disappointing players - other defense was good, Daniel looked a little threatening and Gao played well in spells - noone amazing but not as bad as all that. Just need a bit more cohesion! So maybe changing everyone every week isn't such a good idea.

That's my two cents.

Will Tim Brown start in place of Johnson or Dodd now? Both have struggled to play an accurate pass so far this season and Brown must be about match fit now?

They need some of what Wiki feeds the warriors.Would love to know whats happened to the team that played in the preseason. Also where is the evidence of this much talked about fitness we are meant to have.

arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

A point would have been OK but losing is a huge blow. I was reasonably happy with that starting XI but once again the substitutions were far too late. Kwasnik offered nothing, Brown and Sigmund didn't have the time to make an impact. It was so clear we were being overrun but Ricki waited until after we conceded before bringing on Brown and Siggy.

Mulligan in particular has disappointed me, he doesn't seem to be able to do anything but punt it long and he isn't even taking our set pieces. Siggy deserves a run at RB, at least he has shown pace and a desire to get forward.

I think we need to get Leo back in the mix, he seems to be the best player at providing Smeltz with some support. Perhaps Hearfield the one to miss out.

Well our momentum into last season came from Felipe and that goal in the win over Sydney in Sydney. And that still got us to last.

Have to pull off some results against the bigger name teams. And a bucket full of them.

Hate to compare with Rugby but ... If the Hurricanes coach had the same record and performances would he still be around. I think not.

Who would you play there?

Manny Muscat looked like a reasonable stand-in, but I didn't think looked up to the A-League standard. I don't know whether that was just fitness - what with him coming from part-time football - or a gap in levels.

Christie covered there unconvincingly for a while last year.

I seem to recall that Dodd or someone like that can cover there? Or did I dream that? I'm sure I'm missing someone?

Shut ya f**ken face.

Its because this is an absolute joke.

The team keep playing like sh*t, using the f**ken retards that are crap every week eg Johnson, without giving someone a chance to improve it.  Using stupid formations every week, losing to the worst team in the league, ffs the nix are making a joke of themselves this season, and something needs to be done before it becomes even more embarrasing.

I didnt mind coming last, last season, atleast we were competitive, cannot say that this season can we now? So piss off

I've got to agree with SiNZ. Your mentality is actually an absolute joke. Just cause the team has expectations this season and 5 games in they aren't meeting them doesn't mean you jump ship. Go support Perth if you want there nearly top 4.

Totally agree about Mulligan, every time he gets the ball he looks like a frightened rabbit. Looses the ball, cannot cross, does not go forward cannot mark a player.

Maybe Changes need to be made.  Mulligan was F**kin rubbish.  I don't support Auckland but Sigmund should be starting.  Daniel keeps falling over and I don't think i have seen a 1-6-4 formation, with our midfeild missing in action.  Need Bertos fit, and Hearfeild needs to drop to bench with kwasnik starting.  I hope things change for next week or we will get raped by the bling.

We were crap last season, we're crap this.  Nothing has changed - just a few faces.  The team selected was never going to do the job.  No spark, no creativity.  As soon as I saw Johnson and Ferrante together my heart sank.  Bottom again at season's end without doubt.  We're a joke.  5,000 next week - if we're lucky.

Pedant Mode On
You can have Sigmund starting - he plays for the Wellington Phoenix now, not Auckland City.

1-6-4 formation? I doubt you'll ever see that. It would be incredibly rare. You have to at least nominate one player as a keeper, even if you line him up in defence, midfield or up front

I have to admit that has to be serious changes to the starting line-ups as well as some early subs like at the 60 minute stage.

If a player isn't doing it in the first half or in the first 15 minute of the second half there is a 98% chance that he ain't doing it for the rest of the game.

This was a painful match to watch.

1 keeper save forced says it all really...
However, its not the end of the world. Its not like we are getting thrashed 5-0 every game. 1-0, the performance might not be there but the results are not far away. I have a feeling about Sydney...

Sigmund at the right back.

gene splice Muscat and Mulligan and see if we get one A-league standard player. Both have shown promise but dissapointed so far.

Bring back Stu Jacobs.  Soon as I saw the line up at 7pm I thought,"Aw sh.t, this aint gonna work" And just to show how dumb Sherbert is, when Perth bring on an attacking sub and they start running all over us, what does he do? NOTHING.

I wish people would stop burying their heads in the sand.  Too early to jump to conclusions?  We've had a season and a half of this crap.  We're still BOTTOM FFS.
