Apparently there was controversy over our guys wearing heart-monitors:

At the bottom of the article:

'Meanwhile, Wellington Phoenix's pre-season clash with Burleigh Heads tonight (7pm) has been given the go-ahead -- despite disquiet from officials over the heart-monitors worn by the Kiwis.

The referee at Monday's match between the Phoenix and Broadbeach United sought to have the metallic-style wrist-bands categorised as jewellery and removed before both coaches reached an agreement'

Nice report nixinoz, even if a bit rose-coloured. I thought it was like watching portugal v swasiland, where a par score would have been 10-0, at half time. Not many players took there man on and the some of the passing was predictable, even Broadbeach could read them, though still had problems closing it down because of their lack of pace. Lets see how they go tonight. P.S. would have like to have seen costa up here to have a run with the team.
