Seems odd, I'd imagine the little corner of yellow and some of the people in Wollongong would want to buy Australian memberships. Bit of a missed opportunity.
Hopefully Domey will try to sort something with the NSW & Victoria clubs again. It's leaving money on the table & would be foolish not to do something.
So no more "long-distance"/limited ticket membership options?

Thats something the Phoenix over the years has consistently messed up. I could never understand why they didnt offer a simple membership only no need for heaps of free things just a membership card. Think they would would find there would be plenty here and overseas who would take up the option to be a club member.
In the email I received last week, it stated this...
"Gold, silver (including the Yellow Fever zone) and family season tickets are available from Monday, August 8, with New Zealand and Australian club memberships, and the popular ‘Triple Nix’ pass on sale from Monday, September 5."
But now there's no mention of Australian memberships anywhere apart from a broken link at the bottom of the Nix website 🤷♂️
Would be interesting to find out how many people had taken up the membership in those two seasons.
We attempted to renew in the first season, but by the time I'd mustered the troops the club said we were too late to renew and memberships were closed for the season. I think they'd set a cut off date but I don't think publicised that.
Sorry didnt mean anything just thought it would be interesting to find out what the numbers had been for the last two season
No worries. Just an interesting bit of history. Probably meant that so few people were offering that it wasn't worth their while resourcing handling more memberships.
I was in the same boat. Tried to buy the usual 3 memberships and got weird responses from the club, and then ran out of time really quickly. Which was odd as all we would have gotten was a glorified expensive T Shirt IIRC.
Still, renewed last year, and just renewed now. Because I only got 1 of my 3 emails I sent the club and Ticketek (that was my mis-reading that they changed) and email, heard nothing and touched base with Flicket just now.
Woman at the other end of the phone was great, got it all sorted. COYN!!!!!
Just got an odd email from the Phoenix that says tickets will be $100 each with two for $175? Have I read that wrong?
Its about the season launch event on Sept 23. Tickets were $150ea when they came out yesterday, but clearly the club got some feedback and have reduced the prices. There was some chat about it in another thread.
Anyone have any clue when membership packages start to get sent out?
Got this email on 22/9 - Thursday last week
Thank you for purchasing your membership for the 2022/23 season!
We are excited to have fans back in attendance of what is shaping up to be an unmissable season. The club wants to inform you that all physical membership packs are scheduled to be dispatched by the end of next week. You will receive a confirmation email once dispatched, where you will be able to track your parcel, and access your digital membership card. Your pack will come with your membership merchandise and a physical membership card to get you in on game day.
We also want to remind you that you have access to your season membership card QR code via your Flicket confirmation email, that you can scan at the stadium if you ever forget your membership card on game day!
To get you started with your membership benefits, Chemist Warehouse have offered a great voucher to redeem, simply show the below image in store to redeem*
yeah email sent thursday 22nd saying packs to be sent end of next week, so their "next week starts 26th September, so the packs should hit the couriers this thursday/Friday I would exoect.
Does anyone know if the nix six is still a thing? Asked domey a few weeks ago on twitter and he said it was but haven't seen anything. This is what I want as there are quite a few games I can't make.
"To reinstate your Foundation Membership the request is you purchase a Football For All membership equivalent to your current membership. Once purchased we will reinstate your Foundation Membership." My memberships are now $2400.00 to renew and to reinstate Foundation the above appears to imply I have buy a further 6. Game by game decisions seem the answer!
Contradicts the Tweet from David Dome at the top of this page that Foundation Memeberships would be carried across and retained. but it now seems that it will only be retained if you buy the Football for All memberships, which is not financially viable to lots of members. Would of thought there would of been some dort of loyalty to Foundation members who didn't renew memberships last season, due to the uncertainty of the season due to Covid and whether there would be games in Wellington. interesting, on the pod he said about 1000 members kept paying for a membership during COVID, that's loyalty to the club. If you couldn't/wouldn't continue during the tough times why should the club go further for you?

How I read that is if you want to reinstate your foundation membership, you buy a Football for All membership instead of just buying normal season tickets. Not that you have to buy both. Give the ticketing hotline a ring & talk to someone who can explain it better.
Think its a bloody hard one for the club on one hand you have those who continued to buy the memberships offered on the other you those who either couldnt or wouldnt continue with their membership. Either way someone isnt going to be happy maybe those who chose not to renew could/should be offered the chance to pay for last seasons membership. Not going to be a popular view but not sure how people can think their Foundation Membership should continue if they have missed paying for a season while others have maintained a continuous membership.
Just wouldnt be the start of a Nix season if something wasnt happening. Like you i have had nothing apart from the email saying it was being sent out and they would email when it left.
nothing in the post thus far, I'd expect it this week, the confirmation email with the QR codes for the tickets arrived after purchase. So getting in willk be ok, I still want my pack though.

Ditto. I am 61 years old and acting like a teenager - blush - but I want my pack. Since 2007 I have not been able to justify membership time wise because employment often got in the way of games. So i bought game by game tickets when i could get there. Now i am Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.00 and a paid up member
Apparently there is meant to be an email coming out today it will have details on how to purchase slightly cheaper parking FOR $22. Not going to hold my breath its bloody near impossible to find anyone who will give you details onn how to purchase it. Stadium are bloody useless and are only interested in ripping people off. Not sure why something so friggen simple is made so bloody hard.

Harmen is our "friend", a big Nix fan. They just dont want to come to the party.
The saga continues the promised email never arrived trying to find out anything has become an impossible task. The Phoenix dont want to know about it neither do Sky Stadium or Flicket or Ticketec. Really tempted to message Domey but the man has more than enough to do rather deal with parking.
We are excited for the first game of the season this Sunday at Sky Stadium! Unfortunately your membership pack is unlikely to arrive before Sunday. We apologise for the delay in delivery and share your disappointment. However, there’s no need to worry as you don’t need your physical membership card to enter Sky Stadium this weekend. You have access to your season membership QR code via your Flicket confirmation email. Scan this at the turnstile to access the game and if you are entering a lounge, present this to the security guard to confirm your membership status to enter the lounge. You will also receive a dispatch email with your eCards/wallet links to access matches within the next few days, with tracking details for the merchandise delivery. Thank you for your patience as these are sourced and sent from offshore. Be sure to check your emails, you may have already received this. Parking discounts at the stadium are now live. Pre-purchase your event day car park at the discounted rate of $22. disappointed that the packs aren't gonna be ready, but at leastI can get to the game and can get in, assuming the stadium scanners work with the QR codes provided. Nix operating on brand new staffers this seaons as most got let go during COVID and whole the team was operating in Aus, so I'll give the club a pass here. But, I think most of this is on the ticketing company, or whoever is creating the packs for the club, I dont see domey and his crew sorting scarfs, membership cards for us. This is on Flicket - their sole job is to collect our money, create the packs and get them to us, they've had our money and details for months, and now a week before the season launch things are not ready.
To be honest is anyone really surprised would break with tradition if things all went smoothly. Yep prepared to give them some leeway but given the length of the off season you would hope a few more things would be in place.
yeah, I clicked the link and they were dispatched on the 30th September, 5 days ago. I wonder where they are comning from that takes up to 15 days to get to Wellington. I'm assuming dispatched actually means the company putting the packs together and sending them out actually has the order rather than the courier has it.
fair, not sure how many Nix fans live in what would be classed as a rural address, I guesss that means most of us should be receiving our packs at the early end of 10-15 days..
