If the New Zealand Phoenix win this weekend where should we play the final.

Imo probably Auckland. It won't be a novelty for Wellington and Christchurch because they'll have both just had games. Also, Auckland has a solid supporters base.

Auckland. We need to take the Phoenix around New Zealand.
After all, we are the only A-league team in NZ

Errrr, if we win this weekend & finish 4th then every game is away after that.  The game must be in Australia assuming it's not raining everywhere in Oz, in which case I vote for John Bank's back garden.

Sydney - they have a big population, including lots of Kiwis, plenty of mega stadiums and a keen football community.

This. We have supporters over there too you know, with a strong kiwi contingent, they should also have the opportunity.

Plus a massive population base means more money for Terry.

Whanganui, specifically using the H in promotion. That way, the away fans won't be able to find it on the map and will have no bloody clue where to go! Also it'll still get to be held at Westpac Stadium (or is it Westpac Park? Meh, don't care).

lol @ The Moron who voted for Wellington.

Why the f**k would we play in Wellington, especially when we'd played there only a week before. Some Novelty that would be.

Actually Stefan we are the only professional team in the entire Oceania confederation - surely a case could be made for games in the Solomons, Fiji ......... This would not only give local football a boost but would help the Nix All Whites with preparation for future internationals in and against those countries.

Imagine the away trip for the lucky ones who can afford it.

lets get golden homes to build a new purpose built stadium on kapiti island. we could ask the japanese whaling fleet to ferry the fans to and from the island, and ask christchurch stadium to provide us some quality 'gormet' chicken burgers.

in fact, lets stock the venue with some low alcohol beer and ask rikki herbert to lead us in a prayer before the game. We could end it with a couple of mexican waves.

The old petrol station is still waiting to become a Wendy's in Param.
Until then there is an old forecourt that we could use.

What about London?

We could all go to that Speights Bar they have there before and after the game.

All the Kiwi backpackers would definitely appreciate the visit of the Phoenix.

Rumour has it they know how to put on a shin dig. And if we are lucky, they might take the cows off and roll it flat(ter) for us.

On 2nd thought, they just had a game there recently too. Greedy bastards.

Fixed.

My vote goes to the mighty footballing stronghold of Foxton Beach (not to be confused with Foxton).

Auckland ftw. What a crowd that would be. Sellout? Hell yes. People watching from trees around the outside of the stadium. I think we deserve it too, tbh. The effort we put in for our other teams was top draw.
