To be honest, I was fishing for a reaction from a forumite that expressed a large dislike for flash mobs last year.

Listening to today's podcast special atm and have to ask, when did we sign the 2nd Jeremy Brockie?

In episode 25 of In The Zone, we chat to, and about, the Wellington Phoenix's new signing, Stein Huysegems, lament recent injuries to Paul Ifill and Dani Sanchez, and preview upcoming Phoenix games against Team Wellington and West Sydney Wanderers in Christchurch. In New Zealand football news, we cover the All Whites 6-1 shellacking of the Solomon Islanders, the Young Football Ferns at the U17 women’s World Cup, and the latest in Kiwis abroad. Internationally, we go around the world to look at World Cup qualifiers, while laughing at the expense of Australia following their loss to Jordan.

When it comes time for the post Sydney game podcast, assuming you guys are in a fit enough state to produce one, have you thought of dragging some of the travelling Cove guys on? Would be interesting to hear their views of the game and the A-League in general.

Interesting idea RR. Was it last season or the season before that someone often organised a pre-match preview from an opposition fan to post in the forum? I quite enjoyed reading those, maybe you could include something similar for the podcast?

Yeah like the idea.  We'll be taking our recorder to games so might be easiest to interview before or after the game.

In The Zone celebrates our 6 month anniversary by chatting to Jeremy Brockie about the Phoenix's latest preseason game against Western Sydney Wanderers, discussing match day ticket prices, and interviewing A-League boss Damien de Bohun about the Phoenix, the A-league and the lack of FIFA international windows. In New Zealand football news, there's the regular roundup of Kiwis abroad, and potential All Whites' games against China and Australia. And locally we cover the Capital Football awards night.

That's a relief.  Saves me from having to buy MySky.

As long as it doesn't clash with Dr Who and Mrs Brown's Boys.

What did you think about tonight AP?

I was very impressed by Sally - quite a gutsy call to say that Ricki is wrong and Manny should move back to RB.  Also big ups to her for saying that Fenton should start and Clarke on the bench.

Jaime came across as a bit lame though - just looking at the Vince Lia card and giggling. I<3Nix would not be impressed.

Well, the fact that Ricki was standing right beside her. He didn't look too happy, but he took it better than Kevin Fallon at a MAGS-Akld Grammar match.
