There is an official re-opening of Karori Park this Saturday and the Nix will have a presence there.  Terry and Ricky will play in the Celebrity Match and they hope to have Tim Brown and Costa there too.  Council have a few things organized as do Wharfies club so lets all turn out to support our team, wear Yellow and follow through with the support thats already humming......

And yes, I will be at the opening as I am playing there straight after. Black and yellow kit will be adorned due to my Island Bay United allegiances.

Following on from the festivities at Karori Park earlier in the day why not keep the yellow fever going through to  later that night for the F A Cup Final?

BNU have arranged for the game to be shown at the Cambridge Hotel on Cambridge Terrace. Good venue, plenty of room, big screen (lots of other screens too), cheap food and drink available. Doors about 11pm.

Would be great to see an obvious Yellow Fever/Wellington Phoenix presence down there. Good chance for a few beers and a bit of self-promotion on the biggest football night of the year.

Maybe we'll see a few of the players down there too? Might be their last chance to get mashed before Ricki starts to crack the whip!

10.30 warm-up for 10.50 kick off in celeb game. Brownie wasn't sure if he could make it, but Terry and Ricki are locked in. The Phoenix marketing girls will be there too.

Yas boi re eee ree eee. Ummm Nembo if Terry gave discounts to greeks why would u say then only 5 greeks would go to the games idiot? More likely more will as its cheaper u stooge. Theres gnna be quite a few greeks coming neways but we really need more. I think greek chants etc would be greeeat. I knw u guyes will say dum but really they do have the best fans and chants/songs sung in the crowd by far.

well it all depends on how many greeks are in the fans club aye re, greek is a hard language to speak if you're not used to it. It could work re, we could always pull off the PAOK chat (against italian refs/players/teams)

ITALIA!!! ITALIA!!!

E FANGOULO!!!

REPEAT (any one speak italian, i dont think i spalt that right)

aparently means f**k off italy

Ricki chopped Terry in the game today at KP today and buggered Terry's knee. Might need to look for a new coach. ha.

If it's true that all publicity is good publicity then Ricki's tackle on Terry was a stroke of marketing genius! Front page of the Dom Post is hard to beat after all.

Maybe Terry has found his new marketing manager and a third job for Ricki!
