Yes Players shouldnt dive, and the Media screwed us over but at the
end of the day...
Players will dive because they CAN!!! When somthing / bigger
consequenses are put into action then maybe it will be cut down, I
wouldnt go as far as to sterotype it as Brazilian, as Italians and
even the Portuguese to dive.
I guess itll never be ridden off in the game and the ref's
will just have to keep a filter on these and do the best they
can.
As for TVNZ, Hammer Heads letter outlines the negligence and
incompetence of Tv One.

Just have to jump in here and say it is called in society
"Jeitinho" ie to jump the line in the bank when you see womeone you
know working there and use them to get served faster, etc, but the
verb they use in football specifically is "valorizar"

Well at least one person got it!
Relax everybody, I'm just taking the mick. I just couldn't let
a statement like "if you condone diving you're not a true sports
fan as far as I'm concerned" slide without comment. One thing leads
to another and before you know it you're debating issues of race
and ethnicity within a sociological framework. Happens all the time
doesn't it?

If I may just add one more thing....
As a Warriors fan, if one of our players strips the ball off
the opposition when its not a one-on-one tackle, and the ref
doesn't penalise us, I don't boo our player for cheating. He broke
the rules and got away with it. Yeehaa!
