The annoying thing is that he probably has now realised he can't f**k around if he wants to continue in the game and will probably play well for Perth..

Yeah, I still can't believe that he paid his way to go there. He didn't even turn up to our trainings!

Hope he does play for them. Just wait till Siggy or Manny get hold of him. That'll sort him out.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

he won't be any better for them than he was for us, somethings never change and unfortunatly for Gao he is a lazy footballer! seems to think he is better than the game.

Queenslander 3x a year.

Well I remember Gao seemed to have a great attitude when he first turned up, remember the game he organised to raise money for the Chinese earthquake survivors, pity it went downhill from there, I'd expect the same to happen following his entrance as a "committed" player at GLoLry
You know we belong together...

If Perth carry on like they are at the moment, I'd give him about 2 games before Mitchell will kick his arse out the door there as well. He's the last person you'd want out there when you're having a bad run and are trying to grind out results.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

LOL - seems he's in panic mode:

"Perth Coach Dave Mitchell has given Chinese midfielder Leilei Gao an opportunity to train with the Glory this week after receiving a request from the skilful 28 year old who hopes to extend his Hyundai A-League career in Western Australia."

Regardless I don't think its likely his urgency and committment will last - this could be real poison for Perth even just at trainings.

i would be worried that he would be giving them info on our training, tactics etc.

From what I saw, he didn't understand our training or our tactics so we don't have to worry about that....

Gao - A slimline El**ch? Except El**ch did score "that" goal to his credit.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I'm sad we never saw his best, I watched some great games with him carving up for the Knights. Sure hope he doesn't do that to us.
No comparison with El**ch.

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Errr, he only did it once maybe twice at best.

Three for me, and two for them.

He did bloody well in our first home win against Sydney. I don't think he's the only one in the squad who had intensity issues during this season. Having said that we've done bloody well of late without him.

So much for going to Europe next year. He's training with en eye for signing for Glory next season, he can't play this year.

He went from, "Happy Asian Man" to "Try (not particularly) Hard Wonnabe" is more accurate I feel.

Lei Lei Gao = the new Hyuk-Su Seo

A bit off topic here - but is it just me, or does this guy have the biggest chin in the A-League?

I went to the Queensland Roar site to check the spelling of Hyuk-Su's name - and was slapped across the face by that outstanding chin.

I may even be so bold as to suggest that he is to chins what Coxey is to moustaches...
