Obvious typo is obvious

Something im not getting though, if 1,2,3,4 get a 'home semi', and 5,6 dont, thats 6 teams. Semi = 4 teams, Quaters = 8. Where does 6 teams fit in? I think i know how it might work but can someone else explain it for me please?

So 1 of the top 2 go straight into the final after the home/away? AJ132010-01-31 00:15:58

Correct.

Im not sure if i like that, effectively its ruling one of the very best sides out of the final... GCU vs. MV one week then maybe (but unlikely) MV vs. Perth in the final... you could go from a couple of 1-0 results home and away to a 6-0 blow out in the final. But thats happened before i guess... ha. oh well works out better for us then. one less tough team to worry about in the grand scheme of things.

edit: i always thought 1,2 were straight into semis to play the winners of 3,6 and 4,5.

well we can't get higher the 4th unless we win all three games and sydney lose them all.....so 4th spot is down to us and newcastle and perth, also top 6 still a tight race, 7th is still a possibility.

Week 1: 4th vs 5th.  then if win and 6th beats 3rd -
Week 2: 4th vs 6th (otherwise away game to 3rd)

this is going to go right down to the wire....prob will only be sorted out on the last round. Don't think we can take points away to GC...we simply are not good enough away. So it will mean a must win against CCM at home.

Maybe thats another goal to take out of this season. Win away from home to a top contender. Go on Ricki and the lads. You can do it.

Dear Centrebet,

I'm pretty sure you know what you can do with that wooden spoon we were favourites for at the beginning of the season.

They can wrap it up, put a neat ribbon on it, and hand deliver it to Adelaide

Sydney away. Brisbane home. I'd back them to beat Roar at home. And I'd back Sydney to beat them.

We'll finish 6th.  Newcastle have easier games... although Perth's run is a bit tricky.

Mariners just couldn't seem to finish. Hopefully they have that luck against us. At least that means one less team competing for playoffs.

The second best defensive side in the comp....and they're out.

Hopefully they will get up for the F1 Derby against the Jets (play for pride, regional bragging rights and to screw up Jets finals position) and then mentally check out for our game.

Its looking like our biggest threat is now the Roar, with Adelaide and Perth left to play - two teams they could beat.

Both Roar's games away. But who knows, they did look very good in the 2nd half against Sydney. Confidence can do wonders for a team's performance. Hopefully we got back some of that yesterday and can pull off our third away win of the season against GCU.
