Leo Bertos Released

Have you actually ever seen Bertos play for Perth? When he steams down the wing, crosses and Dragicevic/Robinson/Rukavitsiya send the ball out of the stadium?

Bertos would be a fantastic adition to the squad. has been 1 of the standouts for perth and the all whites

I have met Happyted actually, loves his banter. 

The crowd did give Bertos crap in the 4-1 game. It had nothing to do with his performance though; it started the first time he got the ball ffs.

Thats exactly what I said after that game. During the AW's game he got more cheers than anyone else I think. A lot of it calling for him to come home.

After seeing the great understanding that Leo had with Shane Smeltz in the international games I'd love to see him playing for the Phoenix.

The internationals won't be a problem any more, they are moving to have an international window in the A-League.

Leo bertos is currently better than Elrich, IMO..........

If you look at Leos stats over the past two seasons he has been pretty good, maybe could do with a few more goals. I am sure that if he was playing for Melbourne he would have a few more assists and goals to his name

Leo is one of the better attacking players in th league, obviously he needs to add some goals to his game but he scored plenty from midifed in England and he just needs to find his confidence.

Bobdylan, th face of the mater is that to get players across the ditch they either need to be slightly on the outer or we have to pay a lot. In some cases it will be worth it, but in others it wont. With kiwis they WANT to come home, we can get them for fair value and it is easier to pry them away from their clubs. Leo was wanted by the glory, he was off contract at the end of June and refused to renogiate for next season so was released now.

Worth noting that Lochhead, Smeltz and Moss were the three most consistent players in our side, all kiwis.

and what's with Sydney signing guys not wanted by other clubs like Simon Colosimo, they must be sh*t.

Leo Bertos is a brilliant player and I reckon it'd be great to have him.

And I think he had nine assists to his name in Season 2, that speaks for itself.

If Colosimo is up for grabs we should try and get him, he's class

basicly bertos owned cafu when we played brazil now cafu aint the best defender but consitling beating a world class player aint to bad, he also can beat players and get a cross in a rare sight from alrich

No, Aloisi is an injury replacement (loophole). Guest players can't play in the finals.

im sorry but a guy who can acheive the most assists in the league last season in a team that only finished a point or 2 (?) ahead of the knights qualifies him as a good player. when he came off the bench for the glory this year and he could work with rukyvytsa and downey perth looked a markedly better team. im thinking primarily of the game against the clogs in brissy

Why don't you suggest some A-League players who are available and better than him in his position?
