Very few natural left footed players in the A-League, so Lochy is a benefit to the Phoenix.

He is a very good defender. He has let himself down going forward with his crossing in the last couple of years (the ongoing groin injury I hope), but defensively he is very solid. Very few goals come down our left side when he is there.

I quite like him, but I'd suggest you watch some replays of old games.

He gives us better width on attack and is better defending players that look to go wide. Since Hearfield is right footed, he is probably a bit better with players cutting in.
