We may have found a new 'Ben Old used to play golf'. https://t.co/vTTtrw8jWH

An outstanding lad. I'm looking forward to following his career.
A few of these academy lads are really stepping up and make themselves look fairly comfortable in the A League. Good on them and I hope they do go on to successful careers. Especially helping the Nix actually achieve things.
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

LKH has definitely been caught out a couple of times when he thought the ball was going dead and then someone has nipped around him and kept it in or whatever, but overall his composure and not to mention the engine for a big lad doing the work up the flank has been very impressive

Hope however, he quickly finds a place at centre back, or on the left of a back three would be ideal. Think he could turn into a gem but can’t see it really long term at left back.
Auckland will rise once more

His natural position is CB, so no doubt he is looking at that role long term, however, I think Hughes might be ahead of him in that role.
Good to have options moving forward as I fully expect to lise Surman after the Olympics if not before.

Is Hughes a left footer or a right footer?
