How the hell has Old got 3 votes?

Why didn't Moss get more votes? He did concede a penalty but did loads to keep the Jets at bay.

And he almost saved the penalty too!

Probably because he's amazing every week

He did play well but was VERY lucky not to be sent off for that challange.

Its no longer a problem.

I can't believe how much space we give to attacking teams outside the box. The midfielders hardly track back and as a result the defenders are often left high and dry. I don't know why Ricki Herbert has not turned grey yet....I thought the Aussie commentators were shiite again last night but I agreed with them that some of the defending was schoolboy stuff!!!!

I've been a harsh critic of Elrich so I gave him my vote. He had his best game in a Nix shirt so far. Smeltz was great too and I can't believe Ferrante scored!

Ferrante for me, had his best performance of the season so far. he looks to be increasing in confidence all the time.

Smeltz and Moss performed to their usual high standard, Cov's had another strong game to.

Coveny has definitely looked fitter and sharper since they apparently changed his training programme a couple of months ago. Not sure what they did to tweak it, but it might work for me too...!!??

Smeltzy was my pick, he was busy up front and did a lot of tracking

Why does the ball keep landing at Lia's feet outside the box.

Ferrante for me, great to see a midfielder playing with vision. Good passing, excellent work rate. he and Lia are starting to come out of their shells. Coveny was great up front too, as was Smeltz. Thought the back 3 were unfamiliar with what was required and Lochead seemed unsure whether he was the wingback. Apart from that a good performance from almost everybody. They seem to be developing combinations which is good, and didn't really suffer from the absence of Daniel.
Also great to see a NZ footie team head to Aussie and play a 3-5-2 and come away with the points. How gutsy is that?Ronaldoknow2008-01-01 20:37:29

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

Ferrante is not for me,but he did get my vote.
Old wouldn't get into the back 4 of our Porirua City Masters Div 2 (current Champions-have it!) side. And he looks older than half of us!
