I haven’t looked into their injuries but Ikonomidis who seems to always step up against the Nix is with the Socceroos

Had forgotten about that. With him missing and Piscopo available that evens things back up a bit.

Still nervous about that Perth frontline of Castro/Fornaroli/Keogh/Chiannese running at our tired defenders though.

Is it right that this is Perth's first away game since 13th April? A run of 8 home games that began with a 1-3 loss to the Nix. Not surprising they have built some late season momentum off that.

I presume all to do with the Glory being based out of WA in the first few months of the season. Hopefully the change of routine & travelling soo far makes them grumpy.

Though sounds like they have broken the long trip up, with a day or so layover in Sydney.

Yeah, Glory had a 8 game home stand cuz of the WA borders being closed early in the season.

Lachman may also be out, as Curaçao have some CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers next week. Incl big game against Guatemala 9th June.

But I see he hasn't been picked to play with Bonevacia & co since Nov 2019 - so he's probably NZ bound.

Yes that frontline does look good and they've scored same (ballpark) number of goals as we did - but our defence has been much more solid over the last two months, while theirs got a bit leaky.

Because there's literally no other covered seating left to sell that isn't upper tiers, which is a pain in the ass to staff and security for.

Ok so both sides sold out and now they've opened West Upper. 310 behind the goal looks like it'll sellout as well. This crowd could be a record breaker.

I hope we are not rushing Reno back too quickly though if we don't win today then the season is pretty much over so I get why we would try and get as much out of him as possible.
Sounds like a great turn out, the boys are gonna need the extra help!
