Thinking about driving up. I might not be happy with a game up there but then if the Nix could set two normal league game crowd attendances in the A League, that'd be cool.

Remember ROF is unavailable for the Nix weekend of 28th-30th, due to the Food Show. So game was always going to have to head north.

Bit of a laugh that all the live music places in town were suffering or shutdown from complaints from boomers who bought city apartments.
Still hey- Eden Park’s financial misery lets the Nix make money there, so that’s evolution, bb.
And with good accessibility to all the bars in the inner west. Singing on the train, just singing on the train!

I heard yesterday 8k thus far. But a week is a long time. Plenty of Wellingtonians making the trek up there. For Football, for the Nix, a massive turnout, like the one last night, would really be a positive. To have two very high regular season turnouts would show everyone what can be achieved. For Aucklanders to experience it would be good for them. Yes, there was 19k one year but 24k is good, although I fear Eden Park would still look empty on one whole side - The one where the camera's are.

"We" can do this. Get ya tickets locals, get ya tickets.

Any talk of Auckland Football, like Capital of rescheduling local football, so more fooball folk can get along to Eden Park?

Imagine Sunday is a pretty big day for some of the social grades in the 09.

Anything above 15K will be a good crowd. A lot will depend on the weather. Long range forecast, unfortunately not so great. https://www.metservice.com/towns-cities/locations/auckland/extended

And don't see it necessarily as a Welly v Auckland thing. Welnix sound like they are contractually bound by some major sponsors to take at least one game to Auckland each season, plus the ROF is unavailable next weekend due to The Food Show.

Though NZF could be keeping half an eye on things, as they decide where to host the AWs (yes if they qualify) home intercontinental playoff game next June.

I haven't heard of any postponement, but I'm playing at 11 am so I have time for a leisurely lunch and going home for a nap before heading to the Pentagon of Fire

Just got tickets. Pax 11195

Looking at Ticketek, all the Gold seating is down to single ticket on the South Side and the North Side has already sold out, and it's now extending out into the corners. Would not be surprised if a good result Wednesday sees the crowd bump to 20k, obviously the covered seating goes first so the East End will be the one to benefit from that.

They won't get 20k in Auckland. I think the Welnix have made a mistake taking this game to Auckland. We would have got 15k to the Ring of Fire. Prove me wrong Auckland....

I forgot about that. Some woke Wellington exhibition of house and garden right?? Meh....

I don't begrudge the Welnix owners anything at the moment. I hope they made some massive $ out of last weeks game and again at the Eden Park game. We are very fortunate to have owners who really care about keeping professional football alive and well in Wellington at considerable expense to themselves.

Aye he said that at 9am having just arrived in Aussie.

Since then there's been a fair few sections sell out, which is good news.

Home and garden show is on every year... at around the same time, we've had games moved because of this previously.
