Is anyone excited about this game? I'm struggling to get motivated to watch it.

Which one of our players will get redcarded? Will Louie Fenton play as a striker? Will Ben Waine get to play? Will the new guy get to play? Will Davila earn three penalties and convert them all? Will Marinovic school his new defence line till they do what he asks them?

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

What's the record number of Kiwis starting a game for the Nix?

There could be as much as 8 with this game (Waine, Lewis, Rufer, McGarry, TAWH, Payne, Fenton & Marinovic). All 'proper' Kiwi raised NZers too (no offence Messers Moss, Smeltz, Wee Mac, Durante etc)

Media reporting it like Waine is going to start ahead of Muratovic. If Laws is out, and Payne shuffles across (CB could be his position longer term at the Nix), to allow room for Fenton - there you have it, 8.

Is anyone daring enough to put money on the Nix winning this? They are paying $2.60 for the win and $2.50 for the loss.

While the context around the match changes, I'm always excited to see the team play. Not doubt this weekend will be a huge challenge, but that is part of the fun of being a supporter.

If we are allowed to play 11 v 11, it could be an interesting game. Although Ball did deserve a card, 2 weeks is a bit harsh when you do the VAR ad nausium and realise there was naff all contact and the only real crime was a studs up in the air that contacted nothing. VAR got one right tonight  for Western United but the night before? That just said that VAR should be dropped completely but leave in the goal line technology.

I think the Nix & WSW are evenly matched.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The teams doing well this season, there young players have stood up and taken there chances. That's what we need from the Nix now.

I put $60 on a win at 2.72 on betfair, just to make the game more interesting though not because I think it's good value.. I think our real odds are more like 4 to 5 dollars.

From memory Dorrans picked up a suspension in last match? That gives us more of a chance if so.

Can someone please check on Royz? He may have spontaneously combusted when seeing who is in goal.

what did TAHW do? Seemed so strong at the end of last season. Lewis is going to have to tackle in the mids too. What's the actual formation?
