Of course we don't know what would have happened if Johnny hadn't fouled him for the second yellow, but looked like the striker was on his way through into the box. Red card - maybe it was worth it, possibly won us the game.

Loved the way he paused halfway back to the shed to see how the corner turned out. If they had scored at that moment he would have kicked more than just the water bottle.

he'll miss the next match now though, won't he?

McBreen was diving and whining any time McKain so much as breathed on him. It paid off eventually, just not in terms of the final result thankfully.

I don't think McKain had much to whinge about on that one and I don't think the ref had many options. Not when they were hot on attack. Had it been at the other end, he might have only gotten a bollocking

Grumpy old bastard alert

he really has been excelling. Could it be the last thing he does in in a nix shirt???

I thought the first yellow card he got was a bit rubbish when I saw it.

Can we resign him please?

McKain - you won't get a standing ovation for a red anywhere else!

Is a red card a one-game suspension in the playoffs? All we know is that it is his last game at the ROF this season.

Personally, I'd rather re-sign him than resign him.

To go in that hard didn't look overly necessary to me but I'd need a replay.

Ref should have stamped down a bit earlier with a couple more yellows as the whole game was stop/start due to fouls.

watched the replay of all the incidents, mckain was going in hard for most tackles, first yellow warranted, second one he got all ball with the leading leg but clobbered the glory boy with the following leg, definately a yellow.....thing that annoys me is the stebre was showing patience with the glory, heaps of yellows but not a hint of a red....

Both yellows were deserved but the way he was takling all night was just outstanding. Putting his body on the line and I thought he was going to cry when he got the red, the man is an absolute legend and him and Caceres need to be re-signed asap.

Not just the Glory- thought Manny was going to be sent for sure at one point there...

there was an offside flag..and also Reddy smothered the half-shot from striker

Ref was playing advantage and came back to the foul as no advantage from being offside...

PS - loved how McKain half volleyed the water bottle over the hoardings...a place up front beckons? (more shots than Dadi...)

How did Manny avoid a Yellow for that rugby tackle on Pellegrino, I think it was, as he went past him and was on his way into the box late in the 2nd period of ET? Absolutely hillarious!

jonny took one for the team, what more commitment can you ask? He later stopped in the player tunnel and was watching from there till some match official moved him on. he had a monster of a game withh Duro and both showed the form warrenting an International call up.

Siggy came on and it was like he was never away, just business as usual. Which is good news. he's up for it!

I really, really, really feel for McKain. What a latter half of the season he has had

I want to say that he was robbed, the first yellow may have been a little soft, but...I can't really say that he was. He just gave it all last night and was the one to go.

Boy you could tell he was fuming as he walked off though.

Can anyone hear Pim Verbeek complaining about McKains red card???

This is the ref that won "Ref of the season award"? What a joke. The number of shoves he missed and fouls not stamped out was nuts. Burns should have got a yellow in the first half and where was our penalty kicks when twice he missed incidents in the Glory Penalty box. It shouldn't have been any extra time because we would have surely nailed one of the two PKs had we been given it.

Anyway, it was an exciting night for the fans and the public joe.

Delovski was excellant during the 90, but seemed to lose control a little during extra-time.

He runs a very open and free running game most of the time.
I thought that he did very well. I have never really disagreed with his calls.
He isn't one to miss things. he is just quick at making decisions in the moment. he made lots of very good calls looking back.
He deserved that award.
