Surprising as he looked good against manawatu....and scored.

Alex Smith has seriously underperformed today.  Ok he won the penalty, but even that was a mishit shot.  He's lost the ball constantly though, mainly being caught in possession as he is too slow to make a pass.  He now seems to be dead on his feet as well!

Yeah..but we have played against 10 men for most of second half so one thing offsets the other..coupled with the inexperience.  So maybe 10 man Heart equals understength Nix.

 why not bring clarke on????

Well I didn't think I'd be saying this at the start of the game, but the way things have turned out, a point is a bit disappointing!

All the players missing, and given our  often abysmal away form, I think this has been a phenomenal performance .... WELL DONE LADS.

Said before the game, that given circumstances i'd be happy with a draw, afterwards I think we let them off the hook a bit...oh well a point away is good.

Why smith pass it bck there.  That was a decent chance.    Idiot

And Ifill was shit today.   Partly at fault for their goal.   More so lia but still.  Then missed a couple good chances

Well, happy we remain undefeated when this looked to be a definite defeat,  but can't help thinking if certain players had performed better (Smith, Lia, Ifill - I am looking at you) then we could've come away with 3 points against their 10 men.

Next week will give us a better indication of where we're at I think.

Missed the whole bloody game....

Damn inspection coming at the worse possible time...

Did the new boys look good. A 1 all draw, i'll take that away from home with a bunch of debutants.

Hard to criticise anyone too much considering we just drew with the team that beat the Victory and with a 2nd string team.

Really can't complain today. We addressed our issues in the 2nd half and dominated the play.

Sure, we could have won the game - but Hert had plenty of chances (even with 10 men) to win it too,

so given how under-strenght our team was getting into the game, I am very happy.

Biss an Rowe next year please.

Very happy with the draw. Sooo Stoked.

But seriously bad call on not bringing Clarke in. Players looked really tired and with the injection of Clarke's and Boyd's pace against the tired legs of 10 men I think we would have been a better chance of nabbing the win.

Could have either subbed him on for Stein and shifted Ifill central so he didn't have to run so much for the last 10.

Or Subbed him on for Ifill who looked pretty shagged.

Not the greatest performance but probably not indicative of anything considering the circumstances.

Very happy with that point.

on that basis - with so many inexperienced players, and the win v sydney, we can do well this season

not sure why greenie didn't put Clarke on for Hysegems in last 5  mins plus added time, unlees clarke is a bit of a headless chook

huysengems hardly touched the ball. i don't think clarke was required. all that was required for the experienced guys like muscat, smith and ifill to hang onto the ball. all three was very average today

who would've taken the draw before the game?

Sweet result.
