Classic Archie Thompson, time wasting at home when you're drawing at 1-1

McKain or Dura for MOM for me. Maybe Lia if his freekick he gave away hadn't led to the goal

Was that knee the same one that McKain had issue with when he signed for us last year in the opening rounds?

Supposed foul for pushing by the 17 year old... then Brown carded for 'impeding' a player who's been doing it all night

melbourne's a joke

Great last minute ball across from Rojas, just couldn't get a shot on.  Sack Ricki.

Can respect a draw even if weprobably should have won that one. We are showing some good signs of improvment now in that we are not a leaky defence and Tim Brown and Vince Lia are looking solid in the middle.

Oh well.. a good away point if we can get a home win. We still lack strike power big time

Ultimately frustrating to be honest - 20 shots on goal, 1 goal to show for it?

Again seemed to take the foot off the pedal in the 2nd half and it cost us 3 points because Melbourne are garbage to be honest.

Stiffler

Don't tell Stiffler Mum, s/he comes on here sometimes to take a break from moderating the Four-four-Two website.

Not quite, but still too cautious 2nd half when, for me at least, we could definitely have won the game.

Great 1st half, poorer 2nd half (without ever looking in trouble though), just like last week.

Still I'm more confident about next week than I was. Big game now.

You forgot we were playing against one of the best keepers in the league who had a couple of blinder saves. If only he played for us.... oh wait

Melbourne are garbage???

Moss is class in goal, excellent cb in (damn memory blank ex fulham player) Muscat in the middle with Hernandez and Archie up top.

Thats is one hell of a core to build a team around.
