Not taking any chances, got my tickets for the Victory game (even though I doubt if we could sell out even the smallish away section).

Section 12, P140-141. Pax 781 & 782. Quite exciting.

Heart's tickets not on sale yet.

I know, I know, its serious!

Section 12, P 137, PAX 783 (tickets flying out the door for this one by the looks of it!!!)

I'm slightly disappointed!

I went into the away bay when we got thrashed on a Tuesday night against the Victory and I was surprised by how many people turned out (even if half of them were just Manny and Vinnies family)

Doesn't seem to be any tickets available for the Heart game yet, only the Victory.

Anyone else had any luck with Heart tickets?
Permalink Permalink
over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
No. I've tried a few times over recent days.

I'm guessing they wanted to push as many folk as possible into taking up memberships or just the first game (that was the only option available) rather than picking and choosing games. Or maybe they hadn't got their sh*t fully together.

I reckon they will be available soon.

I know, I know, its serious!

Has anyone managed to get Heart tickets yet?  I still can't see them available on the ticketek website..
Permalink Permalink

No. Not there yet. Heart seem to have a "next match (or next two matches) at a time" ticket availability policy. Should go on sale this week if the pattern of recent matches is to be followed.

I'll undoubtedly post on here when I get mine (ie, they are available for sale).

I know, I know, its serious!

Last time I went to an away game was Sydney in season 2. There was heaps of talk about where to meet before the game, is someone going to organise somthing like that again?

Very keen to catch up before hand, and to meet other supporters.

Bound to be. I also went to the season 2 game in Sydney. 2-1 win, superb time.
Did season 3 at Gold Coast as well (0-0).

Heart tickets not for sale just yet, but Victory tickets have just been discounted to $20 a pop (Ticketek just rang me - wee refund there). Blue September special it appears.

Back to original question. Where will the Melbs drinking hole be? I seem to recall the Charles Dickens getting a bit of support in the past. Or should we have something closer to the new home ground? What is it to be YFers?

I know, I know, its serious!

UPDATE: All Friday 17th deals now gone.

Grabaseat deals to Melbourne $338 return. Timing only works for the heart game, deal flights are available on Friday 17th. (First return flight for the deal price is Wednesday 22 September).

I got a call from the nice laydee from Teekeetek in Oz and she advised that ticket prices had dropped ($27 down to $20) and they were refunding the difference. She tried to set up a refund onto credit card, but that involved getting new tickets issued and pick-up at venue etc (if I'm a bit 'fired-up' that = risk!), so instead she said that I could keep my original tickets go to Window F (near gates 1,2 & 3) and get my refund (showing original tickets). I suggest that you can do the same. Only $7 per ticket, but that's a beer or two.

I presume I got contacted as I have done all the registration, incl contact details, on Oz Ticketek when I got tickets for Sydney match a couple of seasons back.

I know, I know, its serious!

Ticket for Heart game purchased as well. PAX 2351.

Interesting (though probably not) that the away section is a completely different aisle for each game

See you all there (and probably at a pub somewhere before/after the games)

Both games? Why not? Keep it simple (unless we have a bad experience on the Wednesday)

4:30 onwards in Wednesday (won't make that time myself as I have some work commitments)

Midday onwards on Sunday?

This is going to be great.  Flew up to Sydney to watch the game there with my brother which was an amazing thing.

To be there on Wednesday going nuts will be amazing too.... Can't wait.
Good opportunity to get on the TV twice in one week!

Not likely! Flying alone. Take what you will from that!

Although will be joined by son in Melbourne (hence legit use of "we"). So family bonding in a slightly different way than that suggested KiwiHatter.
