What a load of crap.

Just because there are a lot of tough questions that fans want answers to. Instead of standing up to answer them, they postpone the meeting.

More pissed off now.

May have had venue problems - Quiz nights are very popular midweek in the city bars.

They know that we will ask about the stadium and know that we will ask about McGlinchey. Would have expected them to carry through with the 'transparency' that they promise their club members.

Wonder if it was announced before it was actually locked in ;)

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Makes for a good book. "How to lose fans and alienate friends". Gareth might write it. Or there is alway "Fans are from Venus, Welnix are from Uranus". Just one calamity after another. Are they trying to out media the Cricket?

Last season must've been fixed!

All most of us want is, honesty, openness and a reason to look forward to the next game/season. Between those bloody cats, a lack of interest in the stadium proposal and this WeeMac mess, it just gets better and better. They might not have been responsible for the FFA website but their response to it is. And who typed up the story in the first place? Including the alleged quotes.

And mostly in response to my posts I think. Strange. Probably a double account.

Wow. Who could have predicted that Welnix would have no idea how to run a football club.

Meeting postponed pending announcement of sale of the club to a new owner, Silvio Berlusconi, who wants to expand his AC Milan empire to the A League, Manchester City style. FFA won't allow another club to wear red and black so Milan to switch to yellow and black stripey. Balotelli on loan to the Nix for a season, Brockie to Milan permanently.

You are right but while keep saying this, I don't quite get your point?  It's not as if we had a choice between them and someone else...the club was going to go out of business otherwise.

Plus you made that point based on no evidence. I stand by any criticism I probably posted at the time.

They didnt have a venue confirmed, maybe they just couldnt find a suitable venue? Im sure Shane Harmon would have thrown the mezzanine bar open for them tho.

Think it was kind of asked before, but how did you get on this invite list? I haven't seen anything about it. Admittedly I've never bought one of those club member add ons, but thought that was now included for foundation season passes, which I'm paid up on for next season. And if it is that, then I think its a bit stupid inviting the people with the member thing, and not season pass holders. For example, would an out of towner who's paying $50 to be a "club member" get an invite, but someone paying $169 for a season pass not?
Not actually that worked up about it, but it has always seemed a bit strange to me.

Same here (was a season ticket holder, added club membership.this year. Never understood why they were separate in the first place)

Lol, upset we weren't invited to an event which was cancelled. If the phoenix can always be counted on to find a way to make everything a shambles, the fever can always be counted on to complain about it.

Who's upset about it? I'm certainly not losing any sleep over it.

So it's been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances and they let people know that, and that it will be held at a future date to be confirmed. No-one knows what the circumstances are, but we'll all load up both barrels and let the club have it anyway.

Pfffft.

FFS dont let the truth get in the way of your bullshit.Have kept away for a number reasons and this crap is one of them.

Sadly life has got in the way of me spending time on here reading some of the crap. With a daughter battling breast cancer and me ending up having two major operations and having a bad cancer scare some how these forums and some of the rubbish that gets posted seem rather inconsequential.

And I stand by the "circumstantial evidence" I had at the time that none of them had had anything to do with football before. That was good enough for me to pre-facepalm.

Graeme Hart's about to sell off assets worth $5billion, and he's previously said he doesn't want to make money just for the sake of making money. Maybe he wants to lose money for the sake of having a football team? 50 years of $1million a year losses and he'd still only have lost 1% of that $5,000,000,000!!!

Jesus Steve, few people on here know about your personal life, they were just taking the piss. Lighten up. Who knows, a smile may help making the very disssting private life news a little more bearable. At least people are thinking of you.

Not that this is a place to discuss such personal things, but I am quite sure you have pretty much everyone batting for you morally and spiritually having just been enlitened into your circumstance. I know I wish you and your family members well and lots of luck with any future test results.
