Jesus Steve, few people on here know about your personal life, they were just taking the piss. Lighten up. Who knows, a smile may help making the very disssting private life news a little more bearable. At least people are thinking of you.

Not that this is a place to discuss such personal things, but I am quite sure you have pretty much everyone batting for you morally and spiritually having just been enlitened into your circumstance. I know I wish you and your family members well and lots of luck with any future test results.

Well said mate. Best of luck Steve.

Back to the issue at hand - the thing that I reckon needs to be learned by these folks is how to do better comms.

They could quite easily have send an email which said: It's all hands to the pump in the office right now, and we don't have anything we can say about the WeeMac issue yet, so we'd rather postpone this and get you all back when we have time to do it properly and can discuss the big issues with you more openly. We hope you understand. Luv u. Nix.

But "unforeseen circumstance" is a bullshitism for "oh fuck we don't know what to do".

Incorrect. Lawyers would say something more like "unforeseen circumstance, event, series of events, or situation whether or not arising or related to the occurrence of the aforementioned meeting or postponement. The Phoenix, their officers and directors, accept no liability (whether in tort, contract, or otherwise) in relation to this postponement and by breathing you agree not to take any action or proceeding of any kind against the Phoenix, their officers or directors, in relations to the matters contemplated in this email. "

As I didn't get an email I guess this is for Club members only not Season Ticket Holders (Not to start the debate again, just curious)

Funny how this is at an Independent Liquor bar despite them (allegedly by Nightz) not being a sponsor

I got one, and haven't paid the membership, but think that might be because I'm a foundation ST holder? Interestingly I didn't get an invite for the members evening earlier in the year that got cancelled, but have for this one...

I was thinking that earlier as well, but didn't want to mention it given how much it derailed the thread last time.

If this doesn't spark an argument I'll stay off the forum for as long as I feel like. My balls my word.

Just to distract from your fun little argument/non-argument, am I remembering correctly that this was originally postponed because it was when the WeeMac situation hit the fan? "Don't worry guys, just a wee situation to sort out here, shouldn't take long and we'll get back to you in just a jiffy once that's sorted."

Two months later...

Is this being Live streamed as well?

Maybe I was confused but the RSVP request said please confirm your attendance in person or online. I interpreted this as please confirm whether you'll be there in person or will be watching online. I responded as watching via online and the reply said "Great we'll see you there".

I remember last season (I think) the meeting was live streamed. Any one know?
