If the van is full (10 people) then WE WILL PAY FOR the van hire.

Fuel is up to you, but I guess about $30 a head, give or take.

To take up the deal you also have to spend the night at our friends the YHA Wellington City.  That'll set you back about $25 give or take.

So the grand total for a return trip to Wellington might be a massive $55.

Wow! Amazing price, cheaper than driving from Karori when you take parking fees/fines into account!

Great deal, get into it Orclanders.

Alright now, enough of these "can't be arsed with anything"' "auckloland" calls. If I were rich, did not have a job and did not go to university I would hire a plane to be at every single game. Hell, I'd just move to Wellington. Unfortunately this is not the case.

Try not to take it to heart, I know these guys speak for the Aucklanders who do fit in that category but just leave out the (does not apply to Aucklanders who can be arsed)

How many do you have so far? I'd like to know if this'll go ahead sooner than Thursday so I don't get stung for flights if I have to go that route.

I'm in if it can be confirmed asap and by that I mean today so I'm not running the risk of being stung for flights.

Don't think it can be confirmed till the numbers are definite, it's looking like 4 at the moment. I think. Need another 6

p.s. Looking at flights last night, I think the cheap flight ship has already sailed.

"I want to go Saturday"

"I want to stay the night"

"No, I want Sunday, and a stop in Bulls and Waikanae"

"I want it confirmed today, but I won't confirm I'm coming"

Etc etc.

Getting tired of this tbh.  Commit or bugger off.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Sorry Smithy, you're right. I was trying to act with good intent but reading my own posts back I see I'm just adding to your headache so apologies for that.
I have posted this thread to a few places so touch wood some of my mates will be more useful and get back to you with genuine interest.

Alright then, you can count me in. I'll ask around my contingent to see if there are any other takers. Unfortunately I'm not much use in the driving department.

Cheers for the potential subsidy, YF. You are the best.

PS. I know some really good car games.

If we're going through Hamilton it won't be too hard to find some accomodating "ladies"

Would this minivan go through Taupo? I'll be there for a mates stag-do on Saturday night and could be keen to jump on board if it's passing through. I'd only want to go one way, and I have accommodation, but if there is a spot free... ?

Will send an email.

hey I'll be in Taupo for a stag too, that's far too coincidental.

Smithy, not sure if you got my email but I'm in if I can get picked up from Taupo. I have accom already but I'll pay if it's easier for the lot. Return trip to Auckland required too :)

Has it been confirmed that the van is leaving from Auckland on Sat or Sun?

Man, all these pick-ups. Do I get a real bus-driver hat?

Then I can get towards them, slow down and speed off again leaving them to chase 200 mtres down the road before they get on. Quality.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I think the Happy Bus will be headed that way anyway. Long as it's filled up, that's the main thing.

Really helping your case to persuade actual women to come on the trip, guys.

Ramming liberal dribble down your throat since 2009
