Should he receive a massive ban for this...
From what I can gather he is effectively suggesting that the FFA "fixed" the match and told Matthew Breeze to make sure Clive Parmagiana's boys lost and couldn't finish top of the league...

"In the wild west a small town is making a lot of noise...so the marshall office decides to put some law enforcement in this town," he said.

"They send one of their best sheriffs to put law into town - and he does whatever he needs to do and it is quiet."

When are FFA going to hurry up and start funding some decent referees/referee training. It really is bringing the league down.

I normally don't like to indulge in playing the man not the ball (ooh err), but I think these two comments show huge disrespect for the team (and coach) that helped make him what he is today (i.e. the leading goal scorer, not the bitter sore loser he appears to be).

He may be right,but:
 
A) Shouldnt be coming from him. We made him what he is today,and what he said is a big "f**k you" to all of us.
B) What does he know about what it takes to win a grand final?

Disappointing from Smeltz given he knows what we did to them over here.
Surely he should be concentrating on why the team has never scored against us, especially since he's a striker......
Maybe that's why he blamed other facets of the game.

On refs....they are what they are and in all fairness they match the quality of the A-League.
Breeze was awful, but take a look at half the players on the paddock - weren't much better

smeltzy needs to pull his head in.....the quality of the reffing has been sh*te ever since he's been in the league he's just anti Breeze cos breeze called him for dirty play a while back. Also probably a little unhappy that he has'nt and never looked likely to score against us.

I watched the October game at the ROF today.


ahhhhhhh 6-0. We didn't play that well? Why didn't you score? How many goals have you scored against the nix? What was that?
