moss for me, no one else seemed to play with with the same passion as us in the crowd great work guys

Dodd for me, just pipped Moss because I thought he might have been able to collect the ball before Brosk got his first touch for the second goal.

What about Ferrante?  Hes the only ... we have who can pass a ball.

i thought covs played well.so did moss and ferrante

Not only did Moss save a penalty, but he also got possibly our only shot on target late in the second half. We probably needa harden up and know when to have a crack at goal - you can;t walk it in all the time.

agreed re: Ferrante, no one else has much vision...we have players that are good on the ball, but he's probably our best playmaker

Yeh, maybe he picked him out because a) he was an easy target, no-one bothered to mark him and he was still in the same place as the last time or b) because he was thinking , as modelled by his coach, that Elrich must be due to do something soon

I'd have to agree. Moss is usually my favourite player and has kept us in many games. but after saving the penalty he went to sleep. He didnt know whether to come of his line of not... clearly he should have!

And after watching the replay Elrich was the only one working up front. but there was no one in the box to receive it. How many times did it roll pass the open goal?

If Dodds defending was the highlight it just shows how bad the rest of the team played!

Elrich's crosses are shi*te. What's the point of hiting the goal line, no striker can live there for long. Needed to be hitting the penalty spot with every cross, that's where Felipe and smetlz were for most of the attacking play!

Probably Dodd for me. Have to say that Old must have had one of his better games too. He was reasonably solid without being spectacular. The biggest impression I got from the game was how much the play went down the right through Elrich and this was where the attacks fell down. Was way too much one dimensional. Fillipe was very quiet as well.

Yeah i've heard Old went alright.

Elrich has a better chance swallowing a football whole than beating the first defender with his crosses. Perhaps he should try to eat one of Ferrantes next passes.

Well we have Smeltz as our solitary striker. Then we got Elrich as our new striker to support him. So our midfielders are actually playing as midfielders and feeding the strikers the ball (maybe not scoring as many, but not creating so many defensive  holes either).  Only one problem. I thought the ball was getting fed too far, by which time Elrich had the angle closed and couldn't do a decent cross.
But wait, suddenly he gets some decent ballfrom the midfield  and travels up the field, again getting isolated in the corner and um - can't do a decent cross. He is too tentative to take on the man and go for the shot, and he's not watching enough to push the pass around. All I can say is Elrich - stop doubting yourself. If you are there, you deserve to be there. Go pull your finger out and just go for it.

Also, not sure how tactical the substitutions were. Did we run some players too long and then ended up having to make the subs at the wrong time?

Moss was the clear standout.

Shame about Aloisi getting sent off in what will probably be his last home game for the Phoenix.

Seems red card Ross will be set for the showdown with his brother in the last match though.
