New kid. Thought he played well, replaced Greenie's work rate we have been missing. Great finish for his first goal. Disappointed by twitter rumours saying he will sign for someone else.

Yep, I thought Gameiro was good. Very busy, chased hard, made decent runs.

What do you think of the signing now EG now he has played a couple of games?

Gs work rate was high..he dropped back and picked the ball up even if at one point he got his bearings awry  :>)  U can see why he scored 6 in Aussie u20s.

He's much better than I thought he'd be, at least on evidence from the first two games.

I'm still not sure that I understand the actual signing move, but if he plays like this for the rest of the season and helps lift us from the bottom of the table, then it'll have been worth it.

 Corey was number one.

Yet 17 % thought Lochhead was good even though he kept giving the ball away.

Guess we all see different things.

That 17% (now only 15%) is just two people.

I thought Lochhead was good today.  They put the young African lad on him who they clearly think is flashy and he got nothing at all against Lochy. He got forward well and on a number of occassions Ifill's attacking work was the result of space created by Lochhead.  For me he gave away no more ball than anyone else out there, added to the attack and gave up nothing in defence.

He'd have made my top three.

I agree that another striker is probably not what we needed so from that respects, it was a bit random. The kid has probably done enough to be picked up somewhere in the league next year as a minimum. He got a good worth ethic on the field and chases hard. I think he needs a bit of work on his running techinque (his running style makes him look he sinks his feet in the turf) but he would fit in. Whether we need to add another striker to our mix when we probably need 3 midfielders is a different stroy but I doubt this season will be the last we hear of him.

Was impressed with the amount of work Fenton got through today. A disgrace that thug Boogaard smashing him like that. If you are going to deliberately take a man out to stop a dangerous attack a simple ankle tap will do the job, not a brutal hack across the knees.

Hopefully the injury is nothing serious.

I agree that Louis got his head up today and picked out some nice options. I've been critical of him and Boyd playing with blinkers but Louis had some nice touches so props to him.

Boogards tackle was worth three McKain red cards.

How? No studs, didn't smash an Achilles, calf or knee. Just hung a leg out and folded him over. In terms of violence, its pretty low level.

Corey for me. Louis looked good but scuffed that shot from about 6 yards. Good to see Iffs starting to get some mojo back.

Was mentioned on Fox Sports that he would go to Melbourne or Sydney.

He'd been quoted as saying he wasn't going anywhere until after the U20 World Cup where he's hoping to catch the eye of someone bigger than the A-League.

I thought Gameiro himself had come out in the paper and said he wasn't here for long.

I don't know if I would go quite as far as top three, but I agree.
