No option for Moss? Ok I'm stumped on who to vote for then.

Went for Cernak, but heck it was tough. Load of rubbish the lot of them

I guess I shouldn't really be surprised that Totori is getting votes.

I would have voted for the guy waving the yellow and black NZ flag in the stand. He put on a great performance all night and never gave up.

Needs more blow up tomato sauce bottles. Entertaining, attractive brand that is sure to get the fans back.

Was Paston really that bad?  Other than the nutmeg I dont really remember any goals that he really should have saved, and I do remember (I think between 3 and 4-0) him making quite a few good saves.

Can't blame him for the meg. If a player is 3 or 4 metres away you can't expect a keeper to react in time to that. Distribution was minging though.

I agree completely, was just unfortunate it went through his legs to exacerbate it, I just can't see where for any of the other goals people could be upset with him.

There are very, very few of the 37 goals we have conceded this season that Paston can cop blame for. The goal Heskey scored and one other are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head.

Pasty was hung out to dry. Again. Though yes, his distribution was very ordinary... time for Mossy to have a run surely. Manny also needs a rest - he was poor. Same for Iffy, Lia barely better... and on it goes...

So... MOM?... erm... I don't think we had a quorum tbh (ie: anyone who rated a 6 or more/10).

Next.

I take it Totori is the comedy option?

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

He should never have played right back.

Who else !!!    " Lia "

Lia, Lindsay, Smith, hell even Downey.

He's our only A-League quality midfielder and without him we had nothing in midfield and he was a complete trainwreck at right back.  All we did was leave the same problem at right back any of those would have but also a gaping hole in midfield.

yeah I can't fathon that decision, Lia would have been my first pick to replace Leo, why would you throw a man who is out of confidence into a position he hasn't played all season and doesn't really want to play.

Yesterday I wouldn't have agreed with you. But after watching us go 90 minutes without a midfield, surely no one can argue with what you said.

Better understanding......Yes missed his tackling in the midfield....better utilised in the defensive mid field roll

On the side......bad bad call to give Fenton the roll  !!

Why the Totori hate- Boyd added nothing, Totori came on lost the ball a couple of times, but created something a couple of times. He makes things happen when a lot of players: Ifill, Brockie, Boyd, Fenton (who we missed out wide IMO), Muscat, Hogg, Huysegems, Brockie were incapable of being dynamic and creating chances in the second half. People here talk like he's George. Sure he's behind Ward, Caceres, Daniel and others in terms of being our best super sub, but still he's not as bad as everyone makes out.

Agree- Lia might have taken a yellow absolutely clattering Josh Rose early on- I know that's not a popular view to express but it is in some defensive coaching books and I was waiting for Manny to go in hard on the tackle on him, but he kept slipping round him. But a very difficult player to mark, a real threat.

Not the worst isn't what you need from an import though... and Boyd's only turned 18 while Totori is 26.

Boyd has a future to improve and change and learn and has an NZ Passport.

Totori should be at his peak and used one of 5 import slots.

Smith, Ifill, Huysegems- Who contributed more to that game? Ifill looked woeful, Huysegems lacking in confidence and understanding with his team mates.
Sanchez probably would have if he had been given more time I'm sure.

That doesn't seem to be why people are bagging him though.

Tots does more running than Brockie, can head a ball better than Donkey Stein....Over the years we have had many imports-who're   considerably   poorer than our Benji..

Just because we have been locked into

ifill - one too many seasons

Smith - would he get a spot in any other team, even if he was an Aussie

Stein - not really up to the level we expected or paid for

Sanchez - have we seen the real Sanchez

I can't really understand the love some people have for Totori. His entire opus at the Phoenix can be basically summed up like this: receive the ball-> run with it-> run into opposition player-> lose the ball and fall over.

In terms of effectiveness on the field, he can't hold a candle to Pavs, and we know how loved he was on the forums...

I wonder why you might show such bias my Croatian Fever Twin...
