smith for mnine, he played better than I've seen all since his arrival. Perhaps he has finally come to groups with the cm role he's been given.

His work up and down the park was good. covered a lot of ground and got on the ball a lot. a few passes were out, and faded a bit. But should have probably had an assit to his name and also made 2 penetrating runs early on.

Stein's really nice touches receiving ball to feet in the first half are about the only positive thing I can remember from the game.

We love you Pigeon, we do....
