I thought Ferrante was immense. I also thought Ricki's substitution of Durante for Costa when we were 1-0 down with 10 to go was very inspired.

Kwas was alright when he came on, Costa was awesome,
McKain not bad. Ferrente should be sacked. One average game and a end season of poor performances.wellyphoenixfan2009-01-24 00:07:08

Sympathy vote for Ferrante.

He's so 'job hunting' as of monday.

Sigmund deserves player of the season. smeltz is now officially left and therefore is a money chaser

Ferrante was woefully inept.

Well Muscat deserves a mention aswell as Bertos. (At the player of the season comment.)

Vote sigmund if you're gonna vote properly.

His double tackle on AT (I think) was bloody fantastic.

sigmund the most influential and effective tonight (again). ferrante the least so, followed by smeltz, who made melbourne's 2 best saves tonight.

A vote for Ferrante is a joke. come on boys.
Siggy and Costa were real stand outs tonight. Pity costa isn't too match fit though.

Went for Leo, even if Siggy probably deserves it.

The Ferrante voters are worse than George.

Three for me, and two for them.

Siggy, by a mile. Thought Costa, Leo and McKain were decent

Why is it that every week we get some w**kers who think it's f**king hilarious to vote for the player who was quite obviously the worst in the team. Jag2009-01-24 00:30:35

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Sorry Stefan, I know I should probably laugh but I must be tired and that one went straight over my head

Gotta give credit to Costa for being at the level he is without any match time this season until now.

I voted Siggy though. Moss was good apart from the indirect free kick bungle. Rest were crap to average.

he should be job hunting as soon as the match finished...maybe we could trade him to the tards for a used game ticket or a half eaten sausage roll

To be fair Kwasnik has hardly played this season. Ferrrant has had a stink season over all. A few tuches here and there and thats about it.

Siggy, Moss, Costa, Bertos, Muscat and Dodd gave good accounts of themselves. The others were very average with Daniel being very disappointing for me. Seemed to be off the pace of the game and wasteful. Shame Siggy's shots didn't find a way though - it would have topped off a great performance.

Ferrante was poor last night...Costa very immpressive - hopefully he will start more games next season and get the experience and confidence required !

Ferrante has been playing awful for some weeks now and I am amazed that Ricky has kept faith with him. His long ball passing has been failrly aimless. Given that we have a few players that have had too little game time  it might well have been a good opportunity to have benched him and given them a  chance.

Smeltz was very poor also, a couple of times he had the opportunity to pass on to a player ahead of him but chose to hold onto the ball and lost it

Sigmund and Dodd had good games, although dogg gave me a scary moment when shooting at his own net

Costa good

Muscat tried hard even if it was his error running across that gave em the penalty

You can't possibly be blaming Mossy for that.

And yes, Siggy was MOM.
