Tough one to choose.

Kenny gets votes because of his efforts off the bench, fair enough but I went for Lia, best game for the nix in a long while.

Lia wasn't so bad compared to some of his performances but was still poor. That header over the bar from point blank range?

Went for Cunningham as I thought we actually looked in with a chance when he started firing. Before that we looked apathetic.

In Lia's case a decent game looks like an outstanding performance because he has set the bar so low. Gotta give him credit where its due though it was one of his better performances for the Phoenix in a long long while.
Cunningham impressed me off the bench after some less than flattering early season performances, but Hernandez was a different class again today. The guy just pulls the strings in behind the front two and showed his class with his touch and distribution, gets the vote for me.

Guess Lia really can't do anything right.

One missed header on goal does not equal a poor performance.

Actually it's the rules of designated scapegoat that one mistake makes you have a bad game.

I thought Lia was great, as he has been quite a bit this season. Voted for him, but thought that Sigmund was also outstanding, should have started for the AWs instead of Durante.

Lia had a good game.  But he did miss at least two scoring opportunities - the header and the shot with too much violence in the first half (after the lay-off from Carlos I think).
Mind you so did our striker (first half golden opportunity, one on one and second half, point blank, shades of Daniel).

Lia has been reasonable in a few games this season. The scapegoat crew will be disappointed

Sigmund was immense, in my opinion. Didn't bomb forward and leave us exposed, as he has shown tendencies to do in the past. Some great interceptions and looked to play out from the back.

It is a pity that after all the work that 2Best does to get this thread going wankers deliberately vote stupidly. 35% for Brockie.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Yeah Brockies work rate seemed worse than usual (and it's usually below average anyway). Saw him walking rather a lot. Tired from the Mexico games and travel I suppose.

Though work rate is a very difficult thing to judge on tv. So I'm judging it purely on the 2-3 times I saw him walking when he was on camera.

Does this forum software not allow polls? On most forums you can have public polls so you can see who voted for whom.

Lia is sometimes ok, never good, and often crap. In all, over many seasons, nowhere near good enough to justify his contract let alone a start every week. As long as he is a feature of our midfield our potential will be stifled. any donkey can have a pass mark game occasionally, running about making a few tackles, a couple of intercepts and a handful of straightforward passes. And that's pretty much what he gave us yesterday, plus a missed header.

Lia was better than his usual poor poor performances, I can't forgive him for missing a sitter! For me Siggy gets it the Kenny for causing some major headaches for the opposition when he came on.

Siggy has never gone better, as was Lia (can't believe i said that) but for me Carlos has the class that some of the other players just don't have.

Hence the "give him credit when its due". He was decent today, had a solid game. Wasn't outstanding like some have made him out to be however.

The sitter Lia missed being a diving header from a driven cross through a bunch of players which would have left him pretty unsighted, which as a defensive mid he did pretty well getting too in the first place? is that the sitter everyone is talking about? If talking sitters, brockies miss far outweighs Vincent's effort.
