Reddy, again.
Having your goalkeeper as MOM is not a good habit to get into.

Locky also made a solid return, not quite MOM though.

Most had a good game but Reddy takes it for me.

For avoiding the draw...Reddy..2 acrobatic well timed leaps and one well timed fall checking for no deflection.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Reddy - saved our arse yet again. Special mention of Greeny - he works hard every game and tonight he did more than his fair share on defense. Whitby boy2010-01-30 21:53:06
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Huge effort from Reddy, Brown looked good again..

Thought Durante needs a mention too, was a rock back there and has really become a true leader in those situations which is what we need. Well done!

Not generally a fan of Greenacre but I also thought he was really good tonight. And Manny too, especially in the 1st half. He actually looks quite good on the football and can pass nicely. Good bit of intuition by Ricki to spot his potential.

The crowd.

ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

Crowd was fantastic in size, if they kept coming back and started getting vocal CHCH could provide a real fortress for a HAL team.
You know we belong together...

Perhaps Reddy is the only serious contender against Ifill for player of season?

Greenacre.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Manny was everywhere first half. Browny ran his ring off....but Reddy again! It'll be sad to see him go

Mckain, rock in defence and turned up in the right place for the goal, only one og ours who looked like scoring...reddy saved our arses....

If the Phoenix can sort the mess they're currently in out then yeah, I'd be all for a team down here as well.  Fantastic crowd.  Unless I'm much mistaken biggest Phoenix crowd for an A-League fixture ever (ever being in its 3 year history).

My man of the match was Durante.  He was a solid rock at the back.  Reddy was fantastic, don't get me wrong, but Durante won it for me.

Manny did it for me, some brilliant tackles and he was everywhere. I rate him better as a defensive mid than a RB. He also created some nice space around the box aswell.

he's getting better and better. much like Hearfield.

He tackles well but I still don't think he's a midfielder. He can't pass or hold possession (neither can Brown) and I think that really showed.

Don't you mean Ferante and Greenie - if you believe the Sunday News today!

IMHO The Sex Panther had his best game for us in a long time. He was everywhere. There was even an opportunity that he might have been through on goal for a rare shooting chance had Ifill not kept the ball.

i think Manny's option taking and passing range will improve - as he gains experience in the role at this level

Reddy did his job exceptionally well, so he gets my vote.

I cant think of any one who had a bad game, lfill passed more, Dadi was a bit slow, but got into it eventually, Carceres has good skills and was incisive, Greeny was putting pressure on and defending well, midfield ok, like the way Hearfield is progressing and I'm pleased Lochhead is back, Dura was everwhere and Mckain solid, sorry Siggy, another week coming up on the bench I think

Liam Reddy is the Man or though if Paston comes back either of them are awesome Ricky should keep them both on as they are both Amazing and have proven their possition on the team

Durante for me. I thought just about everybody stepped up, especially Brown, McKain and Reddy, obviously.

After Saturday, I am referring to McKain as "The Hoof" in deference to his supreme distribution skills

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I would have given it to Durante, but the last 5 minutes of the game sold me on Reddy. Agree with you on McKain. Quality defender (and striker ) though.
