What a game! Ifill was like a puppet-master. Best game for us I think, he was just toying with them. We could go deep if Ifill performs like this. Looking forward to next week even more as I had to miss this game.

Very proud fan tonight
Ifill obvious choice, although I liked the work of Bertos (seemed quicker tonight against sh*tter opposition) and Hearfield.
Back three did a pretty nifty job, especially during most of the first half I reckon. Manny's cross for the first goal = good.

With a shot like that McCain deserves my vote. The fan up in Row Z had to duck.

Ricki for me
three attacking subs
Daniel played the cross that set up Ifill's first
Caceres with the quick thinking little freekick lob for Ifill's second
Sack Ricki

Ifill just sheer quality. Next best for me was Lia who I thought had a top game. Great team effort.

Ifill - showed his class and was simply sublime at times.
Special mentions for Manny (looked to turn and go forward much more than in any other game this season), Hearfield (gets better and better - but needs to get his temper under control) and Caceres and Daniel when they came on - both looked hungry as.
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

kinda feel bad giving it to Ifill, because so many players put in 110% and should be rewarded too. I'm talking about Brown, Lia, our CB's and a tireless Greenacre.
But Ifill is the best player in the league by a mile. and when he cracks a game like today..you just can't take the honor away from him.
What fun, inspiring player. That's what the game needs.

Gotta go to Ifill, he is class.
The whole squad played as a cohesive team & look at the result. Top marks for taking the bow at the end, you all deserved MOM.

Just a tad one-sided
Did we need Reddy last night? Should have put Siggy between the sticks to rest him and give the monster a game.
Anyone know if they had a shot on target? That would be the quietest game a Nix keeper has had to have

Ifill was just amazing in the second half.
We are very lucky to have him, he could earn a fair few quid in England.
It was shades of George Best there for a while.

Ifill. What an amazing performance. The skill was breath-taking, and he capped it off with two goals, and should have had a wonderful assist for Caceres. What a player.

You're all blind, lockhead was easily MOM.

Our team is awesome. I really think we lift our game when we're attacking towards the fever zone!

whole heartedly agree with all of this except as I thought that manny was having a real great game I might have been inclined to take brown off and leave manny on....tim had done his bit scoring a goal and was looking tired

Nah, Manny can't play CM with Lia and no Brown. Brown and Lia can play in a flat four though without problems.

Iffy - as if you needed to ask. That chip, near the end, for Caceras to blast over the bar was pure gold

In the first half Ifill took the most amazing first touch as the ball was coming to him down the left. He barely grazed it and just controlled it, so it seemed to go straight through him. He then chased it down, while the defender was still looking towards where he thought it was going.
Daniel, Berots, Lochhead, Brown all impressed too.
Gutted Greenie didn't get a goal, I thought it was his time. Did some very good work though.

Hearfieid.
I thought he was excellent last night. He made some good early interception early on and never looked threatened down his flank.
He also always gave himself as an option which meant less long ball than usual. Has made the position his own.

On the subject of man of the man there was only one........Paul Ifill its interesting(not really) to see the different choices for man of the match and begs the question..'where we all watching the same game?
