Hard choice between Paston and Ifill for me. Decided to pick Paston though. Strong game from Durante again. Greenacre needs to be given more chances (On the ground!!!), absolutely pathetic our service to him.

Ifill for me. Bertos and Daniel floated in and out of this one. Lia's got through the work again. Paston had a great game except for the bouncing incident and 2 goal kicks out on the full this week.

Paston. Brilliant (apart from the ball bouncing over his head)

Durante was outstanding at the back again.

I find this hard.  I think its Paston, but pretty much everyone did a lot of good and a lot of crap.  Durante scrambled well, but I have to hold him at least partially responsible for the very shaky central defence all game.  I can't really give it to Ifill as he butchered a couple of chances amongst some good play, Bertos drifted out of the game, as did Brown after an excellent first half.  Lia looked very good but was part of the midfield that was overrun in the 2nd.  Lochhead had a great first half but was almost non-existent in the second.

I haven't voted yet, and not sure if I will because I really don't think anyone stood out.

Paston for me. I thought he commanded his area pretty well, and his punching clear was excellent. Obviously would prefer him to catch the ball, but in a congested area, I thought he did really well. He is looking more relaxed and confident as the season goes on- good for the Phoenix and the All Whites

Tough one. Ifill was class as always I thought, that moment when he lost possesion then won it back and sent in a left foot cross, just no one there for the cross. Dura and Paston excellent. Have to vote Dura though, he really is starting to lead by example. And if the commentators know something, he will re sign which is great news (as well as McKain).

Agree. It's great that Durante has finally stepped up and is now not only leading by example but playing excellent football every game, rather than about once every 4-5 games as last season. Better late than never.

Ifill's workrate was phenomenal: it was like he realised that half the team were probably going to run out of legs towards the end, so he ran himself into the ground to cover for them. Some of his take-downs off the chest from long balls were brilliant, and his ability to scrap for possession and keep the ball under intense pressure is terrific. Pity about that miscontrolled ball when he was clear through to goal though.

I'd probably pick Durante slightly ahead of Paston.  Paston has improved in leaps and bounds over this past month, but when the ball bounced over his head I nearly shat myself.

Durante for me. He really stepped up today and seemed to have more of a 'captain' influence on the game today.

Dpoubt it was that hard a choice. Paston every game for you isnt it,unless you're having a lovers tiff

Durante. Gets him self in good positions to head balls away, and diffuse situations. Ifill very good also. I think Lia is getting better every game as well.

I went for Lia. We are going to have a great midfield when McKain comes back....
