Not finished but it doesn't matter Bertos was excellent. Thought Ferrante has been good aswell

You might want to add in Glenn Moss, I think he was the best player tonight.

I thought Dodd was pretty solid at the back, so he manages to just shade Siggy again.  Bertos looked good, but to many wasted corners/crosses.

Bertos and Ferrante for me... Went for Bertos because he was that only option to choose.

Gao looked disinterested and desn't deserve a starting place next game. Coveny seems too clumsy and falls over too much. Daniel and Ferrante need to start next game IMO

Bertos misses out for the second goal.  He was too busy whining about something to close down the man in possession in the corner that the move built from.  If he'd run 3 feet the chance for a break would have been gone.

Didn't notice that. Would have to watch the replay (which I really do not want to do) so i'll take your word for it. Pretty piss poor if true.

Still, Durante should not have been over the bloody half way line leaving Lochhead 1on1 wrongsided with Ruka.

Wow Durante pulled in another lacklustre performance, his sh*t marking lead to the first goal and was out of position for the second. And almost let Dadi get a third. But the team llacked passion. Bertos, Brown and Sigmund were the only ones showing any type of the determination or passion.

at many times in the match the nix out passed glory whos passing at times was woeful however just too casual never looked like scoring

Last week we were saying strikers shouldn't miss one on ones. Now we are saying that keepers should be able to keep them out.

Paston was not at fault in the goals, and really didn't make any major mistakes otherwise. Was out of position a little twice, but covered for that. When the defence does their job, he has done his, defusing crosses well. for mine he stays in.

Defender was definately at fault but Paston still should've done better. Was a shocking attempted save. Piss weak shot from Ruka.

The only two that actually shot at goal were Bertos and Ferrante.  Given their track records there's something sad about that, especially after the team were told to strike more.

Bag Bertos' crossing if you wish, but the truth of it was that our forwards just didn't look interested in attacking any of the crosses that came in.  The only crosses I remember being actually met by heads were the heads of Durante, Sigmund and Dodd.

Ferrante certainly made an impact when he came on.   Sigmund, Ferrante and Bertos appeared to be the only ones who actually listened to all Ricki's talk about how important this game was and the need to shoot.

Sorry in my view Bertos was no better than average and average for the nix on the night was poor. Couple of good runs do not make for a good performance. What is so hard about corner kicks? Check Hard News comments which I agree with, Bertos gave up in the corner and they broke straight from there for the second goal. Poor marking by Lochy but we were pressing forward and Bertos just gave up.

Siggy and Dodd committed efforts.

Lochy and Gao sleepy shockers. Paston will not be happy with his attempt at saving the first goal.

Ferrante looked keen for the time he was on and produced more in his stint than most did in 90 minutes. Hard to see how he only a bench warmer while Gao, Coveny and Kwasnik (pre this game) have been starting.

I've been harping on about it for weeks, Covs and Gao are a complete waste of time. Daniel and Ferrante have to start next week, they both looked solid when they came on.

Yeah it was actually a pretty good shot just needs to do it more. Also I think McKain - who played as a DM - listened to Herbert when he said to be more ruthless on attack, he seemed to be in the box very often. wellyphoenixfan2008-11-03 16:43:19

I thought McKain was horrendous tonight, on more than one occasion the ball was within metres of him and he just watched it go buy. He looked the laziest and most disinterested of them all, and that is saying something because Smeltz and Gao were on the field

Cant agree with that at all,bloody sure Sky must beam in different pictures to all of us.

I agree that his skill was bad but I think he tried to do what Herbert said but as no one else was doing it he gave up in the second half.

tough to vote, but went for ferrante over bertos and sigmund just because he actually took a shot(damm good one as well). Smeltz was getting pretty frustrated and all we tried to do was play through balls from the edge of the box.
