Dadi, plain and simple. Reddy had a good game too but Dadi stole the show with a stunning debut. Can't wait till Greenacre returns.

Will have to go Dadi for that first goal alone...give credit to Reddy for making some great saves. Everyone good all round.

No brainer ..it was the "Momma and the Papa" show.  There when it counted.  Lochead had a good game..mostly.  More energy this week.

Not a bad game from Dadi, but Lochhead was quite clearly MOM. Thank you god.

I voted for Manny but Dadi obviously is MoM. Just think that Manny was immense in a position he's still getting used to. A few stray passes in the first 20 but after that he was outstanding.

One of the DMs. Most likely Lia I would say, Muscat is performing too well and Brown scores goals...

If we go 4-4-2 (or 4-3-1-2) with Greenie and Dadi up front, Ifill in a wide position (or the 1 in the second option), then it's Bertos, Lia or Brown.

If we go for width, then Bertos stays. Personally I think that Lia and Brown are fairly similar types/roles, and would go for one of them missing out. I see Lia losing out to Brown.

Gave it to Reddy tonight, thought he was outstanding tonight with some wonderfull saves.  Think he was the main difference between the 2 sides.

On pure form, would agree with other posters and say Lia. Unfortunate, but its what you get when you have a strong, deep and 'in form' team. Which is a bloody relief to see from teh nix tbh.

MOM today has to be Dadi just for the goal of the season. Lochy, Manny and Bertos also showed a lot more than previous games as well. We actually looked like a *TEAM* which can seriously contend for the finals today, that is the number one thing in my book.

*edit: just need that consistency.

Not a bad start by Dadi but Reddy won it for us. They should have had 4.
Easy vote for me.

Pineapple hair was sensational. Also loved Reddy having a go at Reinaldo after the goal, deserved the "We love you liam" even though he had just conceded.

Lia is the only one out of the 3 that can pass though. Many times he has put players through down the flanks with his long ranging passes.

Dadi for the dream debut and goal of the season but special mention for Reddy - that early point blank save set the tone for the game (not to mention saved our arse).

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Hard to go past a guy that scored two goals, but I think Reddy was a champion today.

Quite true, though he does have a habit of getting caught with the ball. In reality I can't see Herbert ever relagating Brown to the bench and Manny seems to have the CDM position down completely (i.e. shutting down central runs from counters and fleet footed CAMs) sans a few loose passes in the first half. Would we miss the Lia's contribution with both Bertos and Lochhead showing the form from tonight?

dadi  was immense. thought he would be subbed after 60 mins tbh but wow he blew me away.

Maany is really stepping it up and I love how he can drop back into a CB spot as the two wingbacks pushed out wide. Really great tactics.

Its a real testament to the teams depth when we have nowhere for sigmund to go, Caceres and Diego on the bench, and Greenacre still to come. We also had Costa who was dangerous. Wow top 3 could be achievable if we keep this up

he did good but really, it was a lucky goal. He knew nothing about it, had his eyes closed and nut-megged the keeper....

Reddy did the team proud today I feel. He had an excellent game and really showed who he wanted to play for: us!

So did a lot of them, it is hard for me to choose one. Muskat had times where he gave the ball away in silly places but would then put in a beautiful through ball and/or cross.

Brown, nicely timed run. Sad about his last shot though.

Ifil, what can you say? What a worker.

Bertos had lots of energy tonight, excellent to see that. Lochead was annoying the roar every so often - Hearfield was also very good today, although he could have shot the ball on target a few times more :)

But it just has to go to Dadi. It was very emotional to see Dadi's reaction to Brown's first goal. For someone to come into the team a week or so ago, and to show that amount of emotion, passion for another team members goal was a beautiful thing to see. His first goal, well and truly covered by other threads. His vision and presence - even though the roar tried to marshal him - well I'm speechless. I am so very happy for him, the team and for us! Sucks to be Mitchell right now, great signing. Hopefully he can continue this for us.

The Timinator did well tonight.

Dadi - what can I say? If you wanted to make yourself popular with the fans, could you really top that? The first is the best Nix goal I have seen imho. The build up and execution were great. The second was almost as good as it was a half chance converted.

Reddy, it's a shame he doesn't think about coming here permanently. That's 2 games in a row he has saved our arses. I haven't seen him play this good for several seasons.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

They are probably trying to decide whether it was just Tim voting for himself or not

I love how everyone thinks your obsession is weird when a lot of us have made thousands of posts about the nix though

I'll have to say Dadi's second goal took more skill that the first. Dadi the MoM easy.

Reddy played awesome too. Wonder if Paston will have to earn his way back?
