Had to be Bertos(again). Great individual inspiration at times.

Bertos, for the best individual run of the game. No other highlights tbh.

Diego

Agreed, that time wasting was very helpful to the cause.

If you are going to vote for someone who clearly had a crap game (Ferrente/Diego) then explain why. Diego didn't even finish the first half!

apart from bertos I cant honestly say that any of the team really stood out..I thought muscat was less than average and Lochhead...needs dropping. Ferrante keeps going missing and playing too deep unless rikki has some magical gameplan that I am failing to understand...diego hasnt impressed me at all since game one...I guess in a nutshell unless acting under orders the nix allowed themselves to be outrun, outplayed, bullied and pushed off the ball....capitulated  fully tothe blingpaullt2009-08-30 21:25:25

bollocks.  crowther made two good saves, bertos made maybe two good runs.  I thought the kid had as good a game as anyone today

U serious? Crowther wasn't nearly as bad as the other two

Take Crowther out of that.
If someone wants to vote for crowther, go ahead. he made a pretty impressive save during the game, but played well over all

Was Bertos really that good? got shut down a lot and wasn't it his poor marking which lead to the first goal?

The reason I said Crowther was because he was certainly not our MOM. I said the same for Paston a few games ago.

I hope we drop Ferrente for next week but not Diego. Diego is certainly better then Ferrente and has had only one poor game. Lia to replace Ferrente and hopefully Brown on the bench.

Took Crowther out. Wasn't fair of me to dump him with those two.

Im not sure that we should even go down that route of Brown on the bench....he's not as good as Mckain and even he was crap today]

Trouble is this week no-one else played that well.  Ifill was good in the first half but didn't really show out in the 2nd.  bertos had a couple of good runs, but generally was shut down.  McCain had a solid game, as did Sigmund.  And Crowther with a couple of good saves.  For me Crowther is as good a candidate as any from a fairly motley set of choices.

Lets all face it.
There is stupid on this forum. If you make a poll. most of the time. the stupid comes out.

Lia showed why he should be starting, adds mongrel (which Ferrante doesn't have) and can be very positive going forward. Crowther was good bar that one baad mistake, he might of been able to have done better with the second goal as well, just seemed to fall to the ground. Durante and Ferrante gave away too much possesion and McKain and Muscat kept getting lost.
Ifil, Siggy and Bertos have easily been our most consistant outstanding performers.

I'd be very interested to ask the coaching staff what their game plan was for the second half....seeing as we werent in it!

I thought Lia had a decent game. he got on with it and didn't stop putting in an effort. Perhaps he should start ahead of Diego on Fri night.

This will sound stupid be can an abstention check mark be put in. I wanted to register that I thought no one really stood out as MOM

I think it was one of our shockers against Adelaide last season (maybe Perth) where nearly everyone refused to vote.
We weren't that  terrible tonight but the team need to improve and fast.

Yea, pretty sure Diego won't start on Friday night. Reckon he'll be in the mix again after not too long though. He did have a shocker. Have we ever made a tactical substitution like that in the first half before?

no real stand outs, siggy got my vote, close second with ifil and bertos

Crowther had a decent debut after what was no doubt a confidence shattering mistake.

Everyone else was decidedly average.

Therefore Crowther gets my vote.

how about for someone who actually played well, ie Bertos, Sigmund, Greenacre, Ifill.

Bertos wins it for me.

Queenslander 3x a year.

Durrante for me.  Thought both he and Sigmund played well, Durrante by a nose.  Bertos and Ifill half a length further back.

I'm with that too. Although I need to have another look at that Gan goal to see if it was Sigmund or Durante who lost him. Pretty ordinary that.

Crowther came back well after the early howler. Great pair of hands on the guy, he caught everything he needed to including holding a couple of shots. Two great saves. I like him and feel good we've got another decent 'keeper.
Hard to give a striker MOM when we got 0 but Ifill is quality and looked great. Keeps getting better, Gets my vote and if we could vote for second place, Crowther

It was Bertos who lost Gan, Lochhead was the last Nix player to lose possesion before they broke for the second.

Yeah I thought Durante was bloody good, he and Siggy had that central D pretty sorted.

I think for the first goal it was Sigmund and Bertos who left Gan open, so they can't get the vote from me.
I actually though Muscat was alright too, nice and strong.
Ferrante and McKain give the ball away way too much for central midfielders.
Crowther was good too.
