Yeah I thought Durante was bloody good, he and Siggy had that central D pretty sorted.

I think for the first goal it was Sigmund and Bertos who left Gan open, so they can't get the vote from me.
I actually though Muscat was alright too, nice and strong.
Ferrante and McKain give the ball away way too much for central midfielders.
Crowther was good too.

Agreed. Sick of the whole anti-Muscat crowd. He's got a ton of guts and never stops running.

One of the first men on my team sheet.

thought lochhead played better than he had been tonight, done an alright job keeping danning out of the mix. looks @ least to be improving back to his old form heres hoping anyway, just struggled to get forward but I think sydneys formation probably didn't help with that. crowther was ok for the game, did what was needed for him, couldn't really expect him to keep a clean sheet when defenders can't stick with their players on crosses. bertos was nowhere to be seen in the second half. poor greenacre got absolutely no decent ball, either smashed at him or came at him in the air every time, we need to find his feet. ifill always has energy but I think other people don't read him properly and he probably makes some passes that other players aren't switched enough on to get to it. muscat was alright but needs to not over-commit himself. herbert definitely needs to look @ getting someone in the middle of the park that can link with the forwards, mckain + ferrante sitting way too far back for the game.

no real stand outs, siggy got my vote, close second with ifil and bertos

I'm with that too. Although I need to have another look at that Gan goal to see if it was Sigmund or Durante who lost him. Pretty ordinary that.

I think you'll find it was Bertos that lost him.

Ta. I missed the replay because I was busy chucking crockery at the wall.

I hope we drop Ferrente for next week but not Diego. Diego is certainly better then Ferrente and has had only one poor game.

Diego was crap against Brisbane, and just as bad (if not worse) yesterday.

Durrante for me.  Thought both he and Sigmund played well, Durrante by a nose.  Bertos and Ifill half a length further back.

Another better performance from our CB pairing. Durante I thought looked good again, really liked the intercept by just about doing the splits.

We're playing an attacking player in a defensive formation, there's often noone cept bertos making attacking runs for Diego to pick out, so he has to hold onto the ball and gets dispossessed.  Ferrante had one good looking shot but he was obviously wary of screaming it over the bar so he kept it down and the keeper always had it covered.  Tim Brown at least scores those kinds of shots.

You have got to be having a laugh, havnt seen any evidence  that Diego is any better at passing than anybody else in the team.We are woeful and yet again seem in capable of stringing a decent set of passes together. The number of times our players either over or under hit their passes is ridiculous, its also not helped by some very slack off the ball running.
