Disappointing. Crowther is just so bad we need to get a new keeper or start Gould next week. Also Brown would be in Golden Boot contention if he put away all his easy chances this season. Easy two tonight he should of had.wellyphoenixfan2009-12-12 21:03:32

Durrante, even though none of them deserved it

I thought Durante was pretty poor. I remember one occasion he put Crowther under alot of pressure but it wasn't only him with headers back to him being screwed up time and time again. In saying that there were alot worst then him tonight Lochhead and Hearfield I thought were okay.wellyphoenixfan2009-12-12 21:16:15

Durante. No one else played up to the standard expected of an A League player.

Played well last week too.

Grumpy old bastard alert

Two players stupidity have screwed the Phoenix right in the arse.  That and the fact that Greenacre won't grow up and learn to not be injured.

Durante gets it by being less sh*t than everyone else.

crowther for mine, made the saves he had too and almost scored from his own goal.

Queenslander 3x a year.

We kept telling Crowther to shoot in the first half and it nearly came off! He was pretty much our only shot taker in that first half.

There were about 4 chances ion the second half that we should have buried and I know i will get flamed for this but what was Ifill up to? Trying to make the perfect opportunity instead of trying the half chance. He seemed to dither around far too much tonight.

If Lia got a card doesn't that bring it to 7?  So he'll still be playing next week.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Crowther kept us in the game with some solid saves. He had the closest shot on goal for the first half, with a goal kick for god sake.

And the fact he gave one to that dirty f**king cheat Brosque, means he gets the award for the game in my book.

Thought Lochhead played brilliantly. Didn't put a foot wrong. If it wasn't for him who knows what the score could have been. Precise deft passes and a beautiful hair cut.  Without doubt deserved of the MOM. Week in week out lochhead delivers. The others need to take a long hard look at what lochy's (a.k.a god) is doing and try to replicate it.  Lochhead... thank you... for being you.

Crowther was good enough. He made some erratic saves, but he made them. I think Durante needs to communicate more with his keeper because they often got in eachothers way.

Crowther is a show pony, if the ball is 1foot away from him he dives for it.

he needs to stop parrying it away and HOLD ON TO THE f**kIN THING !!

but i do like him. He's a character all right.

Truth.

Also, Crowther was alright for a player not getting much match time.  Bit suspicious how Paston always seems to be injured when Sydney come calling, isn't it?

Well he wasn't injured before the 3-1 loss, Sigmund injured him during the game and then Crowther let in three.

The "weren't you listening" award goes to Lia. We have 2 players suspended because of their own utter stupidity - team gets lectured on discipline (if that ever happened) and a player who has already served a suspension for 5 yellow cards picks up yet another totally unnecessary yellow card..........
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

I know.  Git wasn't even considerate enough to start faking before the match, had to use up a substitution!

That crate of Lion Red you drank last night has effected your brain. I have watched the game twice. Suggest you watch it again and count the number of times he gives the ball away. 4 times in as many min in the second half, which was easier as we were playing into the wind?

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Leggy we obviously must've watched different games because lockhead gave a 10/10 performance. He does it week in... week out.  Why have Man United not picked him up yet ?  His passing accuracy is amazing. Pin point crosses and never gives the ball away easily. A credit to the phoenix. long live king lochy. i suggest you watch the game one more time and appreciate the man... the legend... that is lochhhead.  Just sit back and relax and let lochhead take care of the rest.

He really is a bright spark in what is an otherwise depressing performance or result a lot of weeks. They key reason why we dont have Auckland crowds.

Obviously my standards are higher than yours.
If he only lasted a week at Middlesborough, why would United want a crap player.
