Daniel played well...yet again. Why Rickie thinks he can only play for 60 minutes is beyond me because whoever replaces him is mostly invisible.....a sub is meant to be an impact player FFS

Well Ifill did replace him...
but yes, Daniel and Ifill on either flank with a solid striker up top and we would be damn dangerous.
Throw in sanchez and a good defensive midfield pairing and we have a team

Ifill replaced him yes, but is should have been the other winger that was subbed, Daniel look most unhappy at being taken off - he clearly thinks he can play the 90.

I get the impression that Ricki had put a little reminder on his iPhone, to go off after an hour "Greenie and Daniel off, for Pav and Ifill".
Taking no account of what was actually happening on the park at the time.

Why was daniel taken off when is was obvious that leo was not up for it?
Personally, I thought Tim was invisible the whole game, despite it being his 100th. This certainly is not the first game that Time has been like this. I want the "Old Tim" back - involved in most things. Leo was trying but not succeeding, Greenacre is too short and slow for what Ricki is wanting from him. Why keep putting in crosses? Greenacre is the sort of player who need to receive the ball on the ground to his feet. Warner- don't start me, but I hope Ricki swallows his pride and finally drops him.
