Lia for me. Good honest day's work from him again.

Lonegunmen, I understand the trainers have changed Coveny's training programme in the last few weeks. Not sure what that entails, but I agree with you it seems to be helping his fitness and form.
Cheers for that info. HGe certainly seems a lot happier.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Another solid performance from Ferrante arguably the A Leagues best creative midfielder. Well done the Nix

Daniel- 4 votes?
C'mon guys I'm a very big fan of dainel but there were plenty of players who performed much better than his 10 minute cameo.

Substitutes shouldn't be eligible unless they play at least 30 minutes ... nice change to have a poll where Moss is not the only choice!

Think that's a bit far but he is picking it up. Definately one of the best passers in the A-League.

Voted for Coveny.  Great support for Smeltz, draws the fouls (penalties and red cards!) and gives defenders a tough night.  Deserved a goal for all his work.

What else could he have done?

Let's say Cov's comes on with 10 minutes to go and scores a hatrick against the bling to bring us back from 3-1 to win 4-3, where does your 30 minute rule fit into that?

I'm sure that Bevan would be flexible about his rule in such exceptional circumstances, but I think that generally his 30 minute rule would be better than what seems to be your 30 step over rule.

Smeltz for me. I thought Elrich was much better today than in last few weeks.
