Aloisi was superb because he was playing a more attacking role.

But Moss is a freak, some of those saves were world class. Whatever we are paying that man it is not enough

I don't think it was a man of the match performance but I think Ferante played really well. He is a good distributor.

Its a shame with these polls that we can't give all players a 1-10 score.  As well as the MoM there are others who deserve an honorable mention:  Rees, Alosi and Ferrante last night.

p.s.  Nice post KTWB, though not being there I can't comment on the supporters bit

p.p.s  Who voted for Webster???

i could change the poll so you can post more than once and if you thought moss deserved 10 votes then vote ten times or coveny 6 then vote 6 times etc. do this for everyone people would most likely cheat thow

Sure is and all deserve it after that game. I dont think I am being too biased, i just thought they all produced and had their act together as a team too. Ricki must be rapped after seeing the game. nice to have a positive head-ache for once!
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Moss like almost everyone else.  Impressed with Coveny too.  When I told my daughter I was a couple of years ahead of him at secondary school she looked amazed.  "So he must be 36?"  Yes, indeed, and can still run!

Easier to say who didn't play well. Thought everyone stood up. Obviously my namesake stood out, but a big rap to Coveny too. All I've said about him being crap lately I take back. He was superb and allowed people to play off him well until he tired.

Marks off though for Daniel's persistent fruiting around like a ballerina when what we really need from him is to win a few 50 / 50 s and not giving the ball away so cheaply. Someone please take him aside and teach him to tackle!

I'd say one or two All Whites might struggle to regain there place on the evidence of the Sydney performance.

Moss..for nearly making the unthinkable happen.  Shame we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.  With 90 secs left a few big wellies up to the corner flag for Costa to chase after and then get 11 men behind the ball would have worked a treat...maybe..puts his coaching badge back in the weetbix tin.

Would be a good match between Phoenix and All Whites on that performance!?

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Moss was absolutely magic with some of those saves, but I voted for Rees 'cos I thought he had an outstanding first outing. And I voted for Moss last week, so its someone else's turn.
