I don't know why you all want accommodation. If you can't pull an away win in Napier you're doomed.

Hi Feverites!

For those of you who are planning to be in The Art Deco Capital of New Zealand on the night before the mighty Phoenix come to town (Saturday 26th October) then listen up.

I am arranging an informal gathering of Feverites for a curry at Indigo Restaurant in Napier. The plan is to have a banquet meal in our own private room (ooh err) where we can talk bollocks and football and socialise the night before the match when we are all a little less "excited" by the occassion.

It will cost $35 a head which includes courses with a variety of delicious curries to chose from, even prepared to arrange for the chefs to slaughter a few vegetables for the vegetarians!

If you're keen then please email napiercurry@gmail.com with your name and how many people. We need around 20 people for the banquet style to happen and we can accommodate up to 50 people. Drink specials will also be arranged if we can get enough numbers. Will need to have a solid idea of numbers by Thursday so please don't delay!

Finally, for the Scottish amongst us, this place has one of the best Whisky selections I have ever parked my peepers on and I am sure Smithy will concur our host will be very happy for you to challenge him to produce a bottle from an obscure distillery!

Coops!

Smithy,

Any chance of slipping this into this weeks Pandemic?

Are you insinuating that Napier is the Essex of Aoteoroa?

Sorry if I've missed this earlier LG, what's the accomodation you're offering? I'm still 50-50 as to whether I'm going, and if I do will probably come up on the Sunday morning.

I've got to call into question the thoroughness of the YF information tour to Napier a few weeks back. What did you do? where did you visit? Firecats is no more, it is now called The Lumberyard.  Rooms the same price tho :)

Stoked. No minimum charge? At that rate I'll make like Len Brown and have change for a fiver.

How odd. We are season ticket holders and were told that we won't be sitting in the zone as there were no seats left as more season pass holders than expected had decided on a road trip than they had anticipated.

10k would be sweet.

Today's Hawkes Bay Today says 4.5k sold but not sure what that number includes. Expect a large walk up crowd!

or Kevlar vests.

To be fair, with the amount of kids that will be there, you will probably get a massive walk up crowd depending on their KO times etc

I got 2 tickets for the Fever Zone over the past 2 days...then I looked at a picture of the stand and wondered how we'd all fit in?

I have persuaded seven dafties to head up to the Hawkes Bay from Wgtn. It should be a cracking day/night out.

I am looking forward to sampling the Napier fever zone. As the region has a strong footy tradition, we should be set for a decent atmosphere.

As Diddy said, local rag said 4,500 already sold, organisers expecting at least 10,000. Forecast is good for weekend so should get a few walk ups. Pissing down now though. Ground takes around 18 I think but includes a grass bank.

A mate of mine has two tickets on that bank. He's disappointed the Fever are not based on that.

They usually come and join us in the Zone at home anyway! And if recent visits by our Newy friends are anything to go by, they won't know they're in Napier anyway - Fever bus will make sure of that! :-D

It's going to be a cracking weekend!
