Help me here.... who is he?
"His" name is Brenda Ann Telfer. Apparently 'he' was an ex
Silver Fern netball player who had a sex change operation , but ran
out of money before it was finished. Now does a minority interest
show on Radio Sport.
Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I know we should treat the media fairly and on a case by case basis, but i find it hard to think that there is anyway short of a brain transplant that he'll ever treat football well,
if he ever does offer an comment about football that doesn't drip with ignorance, arrogance and a weird aversion to the planet's greatest game I'll probably choke on my dinner
Having suggested that he's a lost cause i'll offer a brief opinion ...

Bloody terrible intro,only flicked over from 3 to see if they had
any football stories on to be greeted with that crap.Needless to
say it will be some time before i choose to revisit TV1s crap sport
again.

Veitchy - we are taking back the Retro Ricki we gave you if this is true
Have any of you guys heard the Phoenix ads they play on Radio
sport? Almost all of them (there are about 5/6 versions) go on
about how the phoenix are playing x team and we'll be lucky if we
get away with a win! Nothin positive at all - last one I geard was
talking about the Galaxy game and how we got another
drubbing!!!!
If this is how the phoneix is gonna get advertised by one of
the main sport based radio stations? Something needs to
change!!!

Can't stop now I'm on this. I listen to the Holmes Breakfast
on Newstalk ZB and the worst part is the slot with Kate Hawkesby
and Veitch just before 6.30pm. Veitch with his dribbling
about his Abercrombie and Fitch (Finch?) shirts and his 10km
runs. A silly immature developmentally delayed little
boy. I impatiently wait for them to leave and get back to the
news. God knows who thinks that is interesting or
informative. Never watch TV One, obviously some sixth sense
is at work directing me to TV 3. Generally the Auckland
negativity towards Wellington is a feature of the Newstalk slot and
Veitchy in particular. Wouldn't give him the steam off my
piss.
